The Italian theory makes sense - when I first heard the song, the first thing it came to my mind was that the the voice and style of the singer reminded me of "Johnny in the Middle of the Park" (the formerly unidentified "Johnny/The Grass is Green" Lostwave song).
This just happened to me now, it turns out that in the original post of ulterior motives in watzat song, a person in the comments uploaded a link that directs you to an image of what appears to be a dismembered person. I recommend not opening the link because the image is very strong. Leave your opinions.
A lot of people are gonna be really disappointed when eventually it’s universally accepted that’s an Alvin Dean song, and people just chose to not listen to Billy Knight when he told us the answer.
The last few weeks I’ve been interested in lost songs so I’m helping the search for this song So I went to the web browser safari to search limewire I went to the website described how this songs sounded but it turned out to send me to an music generator so no luck (This is the first lost song (on the internet) that I’m trying to find)
every time you post a vid like this, a week or 2 later the track the video's about gets found i hope this works for this one too :3 love ur content btw <3
We need to revive this search NOW. The fact it's gone this long undiscovered is absolutely insane. It's like the search lost steam because people just, gave up.
The search is preety much alive, to the point people are looking into Stasi archives to find recordings of NDR within the possible date the song was recorded.
I feel like the artist maybe French. Mainly due to the song sounding similar to many French 80s rock songs around that time. Plus according to the playlist, it’s not just German or Russian artist, but a variety that we’re playing on that station like ray parker jr. or Depeche Mode. So it wouldn’t be out of the question that maybe just maybe this song could be French. But that’s just a theory or idea to keep in mind.
There’s more to it! Didn’t someone out there know that it was a particular band (the singer’s voice was apparently a dead sure match)? I forgot what the band name was but apparently the singer in question has since moved to Australia and changed their name and people haven’t been able to track them down. Which makes things even more interesting and mysterious!
You mean Alvin Dean and Statues in Motion. It’s not a fact, just a theory which no one was able to prove nor there are any realistic leads to work with this theory.
@@cipherjoe9ah ok, that explains it. I saw it in another TMMS video, so I was wondering if this is coming from an actual band that no one seems to be able to find.
@@Hjernedod If you actually have "inside information," then it makes me even more certain it WILL be found, because if what you're saying is true, that means the band members already have a big mouth, and friends who are willing to go on the internet posting about it. Not very secretive.
Some 65 year old German man is gonna have the shock of his life when he finds out that a song his college band made is known as "The Most Mysterious Song On The Internet" and has millions of views and an entire community of people has been searching for it.
that’s what people thought about the former lostwave songs…like i thought LCDA was impossible but it was found before TMMS and WMT 🥹 anyways, it’s only June.
The Booth brothers were completely unaware of the search for Ulterior Motives, I think it’s a safe bet that whatever guys made this probably don’t have a clue this is happening 😅
They played the TMMS on a czech radio called Kiss recently. Similar to that time they played EKT in a french news. The moderators were pretty much wondering what the song is, saying how interesting and cool it is. I was so happy when i heard it there.
