Kuruk getting a redemption story is so great. And "Yang Chen is the reason Kuruk Died so Young" is a great video discussing it. Kuruk might be the most powerful in terms of raw strength.
i hope so too but it'd best keep things serious and avoid making it into an "everybody wins and everything's fun!" series. might've worked for aang's time, but certainly won't for kyoshi's - it's just too dark of a tale.
@@prudenciomangaoangiii403 My comment is just a joke. But in the book The Shadow of Kyoshi, at nearly the end, Kyoshi finally met spirit Yangchen but she misidentified her and thought she was her deceased mother due to the similar physical appearance.
Kyoshi wasn’t saying she’s guilty to install fear in others, or to brag. She’s saying she’s guilty because she’s speaking the truth and wants it to be known that Chin was the monster, not her. Even though he died, it was the only way to save the world from his horrific leadership. So, Kyoshi wasn’t a bad Avatar. During her lifetime, she did what was right. Even the Dai Li isn’t her fault. She even admits that she just created them to protect others, she had no idea what they would become. That was all on Long Feng and people like him who came after her lifetime.
I didn't realize that some people think Kyoshi was a bad avatar. I found her cool and really admired her I think I'd be her out of all the avatars or maybe Aang. Anyway Kyoshi is honest and wants justice.
Did Kyoshi caused any trouble for Roku? Yangchen was the reason of Kuruk's failure, Kuruk's failure was the reason of Kyoshi's fight with Yun who connected with Father glow worm. Roku was part of the cause of the 100 year war which Aang had to deal with and Aang was responsible for Korra's problems such Amon, The Republic City and Kuvira.
I say all of this happened because of the avatar before yangchen. For neglecting his avatar duties and serving the fire lord but if he didn't do that so many things would have been different
@@vxrse4957 Szeto was more of a pacifist, he solved world problems through paperwork and persuasion. Szeto did not neglect his avatar duties by serving the fire lord. During his era, the Fire Nation was under threat and he wanted to change that so he became a diplomat for the Fire Nation rebuilding economies and balancing them, he also gave to the poor and the needy. All of the events that happened after was not Szeto's fault, all he was doing was bringing balance to the Fire Nation and balance is the main purpose of the avatar. The avatar does not have to result problems by bending elements or fighting, just because Szeto did his duties differently to any other avatar does not mean he is to blame.
maker nice mushi I was seeing if you really knew wat happened in szeto's lifetime. But I really don't want to blame yangchen because she is in my top 3
As a large lady, being looked down on by my size and height as well as skin colour by a guy, I appreciate Kysohi's women empowerment when she created the Kyoshi warriors and have the firm self-empowerment confidence.
the comments under the announcement tell a whole different story though, sadly. i imagine the channel is deleting comments like those here, which is what they should have done in the announcement as well! that comment section is like a lot of people yelling at walls.
Honestly the fact that they were drag queens didn’t bother me. What did was how awkward, forced and focused on gender politics they were at the end when the story is so much more than that. It felt like these three were here more for the political statements at the end more than for any real love for the books they were retelling. They seemed so much less wooden when they weren’t telling the story, and that kinda have their intentions away.
They look very beautiful in their cosplay costumes. Kyoshi, is one awesome woman and Avatar who wants everyone to be treated equally no matter what gender.
I honestly like the fact that she can be so loyal and ruthless at the same time. It spreads the message that you shouldn't mess with her which is something I wish I had and adore.
Give us a video on "Korra being a bending prodigy without the Avatar state" pleeeeaaase she's incredible! (Arena water spout, battle with Unalaaq in Spirit World before the cycle was broken, Korra vs. Tarrlok, Korra METALBENDING, Korra on Laghima's Peak chained up and fighting FLAWLESSLY in coordination with her dad, Korra throwing building chunks at the Colossus while airbending! etc.)
I've always wanted to know the story of kyoshi and now I know why she is considered the best avatar and a role model 😍😁 I'm now a fan of her thanks to this video. I wish they could do more videos of the past avatars 😫
Would you guys be comfortable if the people who animated ATLA and LOK was used to make a Kyoshi show even though it has a lot of Berserk level violence?
@Royale Spring Kyoshi lived for 230 years, that's canon. She learned the immortality technique from someone who lived hundreds or maybe even thousands of years.
@@Cloudetower Rise of Kyoshi and The Shadow of Kyoshi - the only avatar novels that exists, written by FC Yee and co written by Michael dante dimartino. Its about avatar kyoshi when shes 16-17 years old
Cool story I really hope that in future with Avatar studios being made that they'll animate the comics so that those of us who aren't able to access them will at least have an idea of what happened. *Rangi means colour or paint in Swahili. Just a fun fact I wanted to throw out there.*
If avatar the rise of kyoshi is the next installment in the avatar universe then I hope they give us more in-depth on omashu cause theirs a lot of details to the southern part of the earth kingdom we ain’t get from the first 2 series
