You can’t win not based in Europe and with your technical centers split by an ocean and with all customer equipment. But then winning was never the goal. But their current operation seems especially cynical. My guess is that they’re either waiting to sell at top dollar or they’re happy with the high profit levels they’re getting now along with the new clients for their CNC machines they’re getting via networking at races which was the original point of the team.
