Man this was such a nostalgia trip.. I loved this game when I was young, and I’m glad that I still love the story now that I’m older. This game’s world building was phenomenal, you were instantly hooked on the story and lore. I really hope the series does it justice.

I think with most all old games it’s hard to get into them if you didn’t grow up with them or were exposed to them in some way in your youth. Especially living in the 4K Next Gen era, these old games are hard to get through but I honestly believe Halo is timeless. Functionally it’s as easy as a shooter gets & the story is immersive and enthralling. It’s truly a classic and an all time great series in the video game medium. All across RU-vid you’ll find that word being used to describe lots of these old games. Most of those claims truly aren’t accurate because old games are just that… old. Sometimes clunky or archaic but when classic is used to describe Halo it couldn’t be more true.

I just realised how I've never played a Halo game 😆. Oh man, someone from this channel must be the most excited person in the whole world for the new Halo game - so many Halo videos. I am not exactly complaining, I know what it's like to have a favourite franchise 🥊🎮

i just beat it today. the only thing was auto saved checkpoints. you die and get thrown away to literally like 4 or 5 checkpoints away so you have to combat your way all over again which can be demotivating. other than that it was really so much fun and i truly enjoyed it. first time playing halo btw and i intend to complete all the the rest of the series since it's on gamepass

I received my O.G XBOX as a personal gift from a family member only 5 months after the original release date of HALO & I NEVER got to play it Crazy Taxi 3 was my very first XBOX game so the "YEAH YEAH YEAH!" Intro was my first Introduction to the XBOX Kudos to those who grew up on the O.G series

If you've never played Halo CE at the time it was released then it's a different feeling than playing it now to see what it's all about. At the time everything looked so innovative and fresh, the graphics and visuals blew our minds, the gameplay was something that was never done before at such a high quality for console. And the coop was the backbone of the fun. What a time to be a gamer to experience that.

The full story was that Microsoft was greedy and did not release the game for PC for years.

I remember loving the story and the gameplay when it came out but it’s so boring when I played recently on XSX. I loved halo 2 and missed out on rest of series so I went back to experience Halo franchise from beginning but I literally fell a sleep playing CE. Halo feels so slow and clunky compare to any other FPS, I played newer entry like Infinite and Halo3 MP but those are still slow for me to enjoy. I see why every new Halo failed to capture new audience because they refuse to evolve when creator Bungie went out to rebuild the whole movement in Destiny but 343 stuck with clunky movement of old halo while introducing every new monetization of current FPS

I didn't like the game that much. I kept getting lost in the same infinite hallways, and it was so annoying. It also got pretty boring.
