The new Quali idea was so hilarious. Everyone knew what would happen, and it did. Like the idea to make tyres degrade to give more pitstops, when the teams actually just drive more cautiously. It's as if the regs are made by people who've never been involved in a race team.
It’s a real shame they didn’t get to continue. They were getting better every year since leaving Nick Wirth as designer. They could have been a junior Mercedes team but wasn’t to be. We need more teams in f1.
@@xcmledder3420 "development stagnated in the 2nd half of the season" is the biggest inaccuracy. During the second half of the season there were only 2 races where we did not take aero updates to, Japan and Abu....everywhere else there were upgrades, with a bit one in Hungary and Singapore, and a Monza spec aero kit.
