The FUN Way to Play Streets | Casual's Guide to Tarkov 

Nighttime Streets is what I think Tarkov should feel like: scurrying around, trying to hit obscure objectives, ears strained trying to avoid danger around every corner. It's also properly lit once the streetlights come on. Took them a few patches, but it's one of the only maps you can navigate without NVG and not instantly die.

Yeah sure the daytime pvp complains are true, but crouching near a ledge and role playing as a gargoyle looks kinda fun

Dusk/Midnight Streets does give me that Halo 3 ODST vibe and I absolutely love it.

Solo Night streets in the rain is Tarkov at its peak. Even better early wipe when no one has night vision. Atmosphere always gave me those ODST vibes.

2:12 the russian MON-50 (soviet claymore copy) are actually used with seismic sensors using a VP-13 kit and SV-20P geophone to detect movement.

The mannequin room he is talking about is in the new portion of the map next to Concordia. I wish streets had cultists spawns because if they spawned in that apartment it would be so perfect

I mean - as a duo, we enjoyed day time streets a lot. Quests that have multiple spawns, how big it is and that it feels to me as customs (fav map) but bigger. Absolutely love it. Haven't tried night yet tho

Also do you think you'll stick with content creation after your degree is said and done and you get to start on your career path in your field? As a student myself I struggle to juggle school everything else in life on top of choosing to play a game as dense as Tarkov -- I couldn't imagine putting extra work into making videos at the pace you do on top of that. Your uploads are always an instant-watch and I appreciate the no-filter opinions you bring into the community!

I'm really glad Arena is coming to Tarkov, mostly because PvP is a side-affect of the intention behind Raids whereas Arena will be purely PvP for when you just want to tap heads (or more likely get head-eyed yourself).

This guy is so obviously a cheater. Do you see how he flicks to hit shots? How he "effectively" "uses" "movement" to get kills? No *actual* player knows how to use this. In my 85 hours of experience with this game, I've never seen a player that's simultaneously better than *me* and legit. Sad!

The ODST vibe is something I went for in reserve and while it did work somewhat, once streets released I never looked back. It's perfect.

2:27 while you are rambling about claymores... we live in a world where drones can kamikaze you in a trench. of course the streets of tarkov will have motion sensor claymores.

I can not tell you how many times running scav I have bumblefucked into the magic seemingly invisible claymores, with half decent loot and been very annoyed for an hour or two.

I am just now learning Streets on my own. I really like it so far BUT you mentioned the one thing that sucks ass the most… INVISIBLE MINES AT LEXOS. I opened the side door from the grocery store with a bitcoin and a graphics card plus some other solid loot including a 7.62 MDR, basically a full kit and some solid loot… only to instantly be obliterated by an invisible claymore I didn’t know was there. I know it’s part of the experience learning sometimes… but come on, man! It wasn’t a skill issue or a situation where I got outplayed by a better player… but an invisible freaking mine 😭😭 oh and a green battery.

Man streets is one of the best ways to not play the game for 20 minutes. I just sit at the loading screen until everything crashes on my pc and I am back on the main menu thinking where it all went wrong

THIS is one of the primary reasons i enjoy PvE so much. It allows me to play that left behind soldier playstyle, playing more slowly, creeping along and taking in the map. I dont have to worry about meta or anything like that. Completely different game. No hate on PvP, just saying whats cool about PvE

Glad arena is coming out for all the people who just want to fight. I'm out here trying to survive while the gigachad out there running around cause they got nothing better to do.

Skreets at night under nods with your best boy having your back has to be the best experience youve ever had in an fps.

My playstyle: Kill EVERYTHING you can find. End the raid with 20 kills average.

Tbh my biggest issue with Streets (and similar maps that have this issue) is just...the sheer fucking quantity of fucking scav players. Literally, I fight 3x the amount of scav players on Streets than actual players. I can deal with other PMC's pretty easily, but Gumpka and his roving gang of 12 other goons makes it a little...tedious.

Bruh... claymores are basically emplaced shotguns with large ball-bearings being the shot used. It will absolutely MURDER anyone dumb enoguh to be in it's range

Honestly, yeh. For game that prides itself on a somewhat realistic approach, WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE CLAYMORE WIRES.

I think the real painful thing about streets is the insane amount of bug spots this map was no where near being finished from what ive seen alot still work such as being able to get ontop of terragroup security key and kill people through the roof

I wish/hope that they add some form of fuse box to turn off the streetlights in a specific area of the map. Cause I love the map at night, but only at that very specific time when its dark, but the street lights arent on. Then this map is 11/10 for me. But once they are on, its basically day time again on 70% of the map... how does a war torn city still have completly functioning streetlights? Didnt some sort of EMP explode which is why we see all these cars that dont work anymore? Why is every single street light still 100% functional. I dont mind shooting out lights but I would need to pack an extra 100 rounds of shit ammo every raid just to shoot out the just absolutely stupid ammount if still working lights in the city.

I hate streets because 16gb of RAM and a RX 6750XT somehow only runs it at 20fps with stutters.

Claymores can be triggered by an electrical signal sent by movement sensors, just like your garage lights. Keep in mind that consumes some power so either they replace batteries or connect the to the electrical grid. Hope that explains the "magic" claymores but bosses ain't that dumb 😂

Tbh that's all tarkov, the game is not fun if you don't know where you were shot from, which is like 90% of the time.

I'm on my first wipe and I did a daytime streets raid, got crushed, and then made it my mission to learn every single inch of that map. I'm not saying I'm a good streets player, or even a good player, but it is one of my best maps. And I enjoy daytime because of the chaos but my best games have indeed been night.

Just got into the part of this wipe where I have a bunch of quests here. I just got back late last wipe, played last when streets came out. It's laggy, I have no idea where anything is so my next game session is gonna be hell for me

imo - The worst thing with Streets. *THE* Worst thing with Streets is the spawns. The first five minute routes that players take from spawning is far too predictable.

The best way to play tarkov is to run 2 shotguns and have 80 rounds of shells of your choosing then go hog wild.

Dude has found the map that makes him feel the utter vibe of tarkovs maps. Interchange does that for me. Which is awkward when there are a half dozen psycho's in there with you desperately looking for a man in a tracksuit. The whole game makes me feel like day streets makes you feel. But I've been feeling the lone survivor ODST rookie vibe since I started playing. Really just makes me so hype for STALKER 2 so I have somewhere I can get the same atmosphere without having to undertake counciling for the PVP trauma.

As a solo player, i only play streets during the night. It is more of a survival mode because the map is so big and messy and there are so many quests I need to do that it usually takes me 40 minutes to navigate, so it adds up to the tension
