Takov is great game but BSG is scamy company, holding game in beta several years. Not solving performance issues, adding hundreds just stupid gun mods instead. (probably solved now, but not by them but by improving hardware) SPT is the best that happened to Tarkov.
I quit, uninstalled, and will never reinstall. Pay to win mechanics in a 40- whatever the hell unheard cost dollar game, on top of the fact that it takes community uproar just to get qol changes done? STILL having 5-10 minute queues, STILL having vac hacks and cheaters, STILL having horrible clientside cheese like peekers advantage, nevermind the blatant disrespect BSG shows to its playerbase on the regular. nah, i'm good. They're not the only extraction shooter out there anymore, other games do it as well or better. Why stick with a company that lies and treats you like crap?
THIS is one of the primary reasons i enjoy PvE so much. It allows me to play that left behind soldier playstyle, playing more slowly, creeping along and taking in the map. I dont have to worry about meta or anything like that. Completely different game. No hate on PvP, just saying whats cool about PvE
so i personally hate if one of the advertisement selling points is "we got cosmetic items" i hate that frick... but if a game that delivered for years adds faithful cosmetics to it cuz they miss calculated rewards on another game the had thrown out or dlc then sure im willing to also buy them if the things you mentioned are all set... that would have been a huge W for battlestate games if they had done that instead of the ... unheard edition...

I bought tarkov 2 month ago and to have that unheard thing happen shortly after spending 150 was rough. I downloaded spt and like dayz I feel if tarkov embraces mod support it could certainly see similar longevity like dayz. Also as a new player those fucking invisible mines are truly a bad idea lost about 3 mil in a day because of that spawn in lighthouse
I personally love Tarkov but with the recent mishaps from BSG i just don't want to put any time into a game that could crumble due to the incompetence of Nikita.
I quit once the P2W drama started. Looking back on clips, I miss the 1% hype when you get those savory kills but then started bumping into blatant cheaters which is what the 99% of negative gameplay is. Yes they arnt bad right now because its mid/end wipe, I however do not miss the actual tarkov game, honestly its not because of tarkov, it is because in terms of FPS games the market is in a dry spell.
Yes Tarkov is dead it will never grow in player base ever again. The devs are greed losers who think they are that guy. They don’t care what people want for the game they just whatever and have been for 6 years. Game used to be great and had so much potential.
5 or 6 raids WTAF servers are you playing on. The start of this wipe was some of the worst cheating I ever saw and being on east I feel I get a raid with out a cheater every 5 or 6 raids.
I tried playing a few months ago. During my first and only scav run I asked myself “what am I doing?”, abandoned the raid and uninstalled the game. Haven’t reinstalled it since and at this point the only thing that could bring me back would be a true single player mode (I’m not paying for the unheard edition)
Frankly how do you know cheating has gone down? There is next to no way to confirm cheaters in this game. And as such we don't have a metric to base off of, let alone measure current rates of cheating.
As a relatively new player I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a blatant cheater though that might be my fault as I can say I don’t exactly have the best extraction rate
Not upset about TUE, though the BTR and SCAV stuff should of been a no go. I'm upset about retroactively deleting terms in EoD and then denying they deleted anything, as well as the bad mouthing. Still waiting for the law suits to start mounting for that violation if they do. Tarkov the game itself is a great game, BSG's business ethics not so much and they shoot themselves in the chest multiple times bc of it.
All Nikita had to do was remove Unheard edition and refund everyone and then make the PvE a 10 euro DLC or something and actually make it good or better than SPT as a base (maybe even allow people to upload their custom mods to a seperate Tarkov PvE launcher the way Stalker modding works). But no, he chose to attack Arena Breakout and shit all over his community, breaking yet more promises to never add pay2win
my homie played and was cheating he used wall hacks and he said he saw some one using wall hacks as well every raid the cheating in this game is absolutely brutal and is a big reason on why me and boys quit so early into the wipe it ruins the thrive for wanting to improve battle state doesnt even ip ban or hardware ban my homie hopped on a new account within the week of being banned they dont punish the cheaters in the slightest they just take there money and put it towards a budget for something no one gives af about
