Even though the focal point of this is on Daniel, I'll never get tired of complimenting Graham on his hosting skills. The only talk show I enjoy as nothing feels forced or awkwardly scripted. A treasure, he should be knighted.
@@rzrhed8728 he's not unfortunately! He definitely deserves it, I refuse to watch any chat show if it's not Graham as he makes everybody feel so welcome and comfortable. His hosting skills are unbeatable, he rarely even uses his printed cards mostly he just has a quick peak, brings up the subject and sits back and let's the guest speak for themselves.
James and Daniel are so funny together they let each other speak and bounce of each other so well that moment when he says "We've all been there Daniel" is just pure comedy gold makes me laugh every time

Daniel is such an icon, like everyone knows him. Even people who don’t speak english, young and old can RECOGNISE him, he’s so humble and polite, I met him once and he’s so KIND to everyone i cant help but like this man too
For me, as a mom when the Harry Potter books/films came out, the best part was watching the whole cast grow up. It's easier to see now, going from one DVD to another (or stream, as you choose). But when they were in the theaters and we'd go, it was always so interesting to watch how they were changing. With your own children, it's harder to see the changes because you're around them everyday. And, like any mom, I'm so happy to see he's doing so well.
My son grew up along with them! We used to read the books together. He’d read until his bed time and put his book mark in, then it would be my turn. We had strict rules about discussing only what we had both read.
This illustrates beautifully the brilliance of this show and Graham Norton as a host. He not only gets his guests to interact, laugh and tell the most amazing unscripted stories but then allows for the guests to get stories out of each other! Allen Cummings prompting Daniel to tell the story about the dog and being mistaken for a homeless guy was gold! You can't script that sort of thing on a talk show!
I was a huge HP fan growing up and that included being a fan of Daniel as well. One year I sent him a simple postcard saying happy birthday with my broken English. To my surprise I got an answer a few months after, it was an A4 size photograph of Daniel with handwritten thanks and his autograph. I still have it, and that is one of the reasons I'm still an admirer of him and "some of" his work :)
Radcliffe is such a delightful young person, and seemingly so well-adjusted and self-aware. British child stars have a lot to teach American child stars about growing up to be emotionally healthy adults.
In an interview he said about acting in England you are a kid first and an actor second in America you are an actor first and kid second. It explained a lot about why child actors in the USA well adjusted.
It’s not the children, it’s the environment and the parents. UK has very strict rules that often protect a child actor better and have them in a better environment, add that in with down to earth parents and a young kid is likely to turn out well. The US still has many issues about rules regarding treatment of child actors, not to mention the issue of stage school parents and the whole thing of Hollywood and the paparazzi and all that. Daniel was in a very lucky situation where he was also in many ways secluded from the outside world when they were making these films, the pressure was there for sure but he also had a very solid support system on those sets. Though even with that good environment, he still did struggle for a time, so just think about what kids without a good environment would end up with.

it's just such a genuine pleasure to see someone who's your childhood icon to be such a lovely person and such a great versatile actor. I remember being a teen and reading articles all over the media about Daniel always staying Harry - and daaaamn Daniel has done so much incredible acting work since then (and I'm 100% sure there's soooo much more to come) and has been able to stay a wonderful human being. that's incredible to look at and so inspiring.
I truly envy the people living abroad who have the chance to be on Graham Norton's show. He is such a great host. Having three or more people on the couch at the same time is genius. The whole show involves them not just 10 minute snippets plus his ability to sit back and let the guests speak freely truly giving the audience who came to see the guests what they want. Bravo Graham Bravo, more hosts here in America could take some pointers from you. Plus y'all have Miriam she is a world wide treasure.
God, I've had the biggest crush on Daniel for as long as I can remember and this just solidified it further! He's so adorable and just likeable in general

Daniel Radcliffe is amazing for after the Harry Potter films, he could have gone to do big Hollywood mass produced films. But he does not clearly want it, he is not in the business for attention and money. He does smaller indie productions which are weird and always different from mainstream. You can't help but to love this guy.
I recently just saw Swiss Army Man, where Dead Daniel comes from. It was a very interesting story. Has anyone else noticed that all the pictures of Time Travler Daniel Radcliffe are just random people with Harry Potter's round classes?

I don't know how he does it but he rapid-fire speaks and I can understand everything he's saying. If I was talking that fast, no one would be able to figure out what the hell I was saying.
Adore Dan, all he’s been through/done and how he’s navigated a pressured situation. But had to say, I’ve seen a few clips of “Professor Sprout” on Graham and she’s so damn funny!!! I find myself genuinely laughing out loud every single time. What a legend!
