ChatGPT just changed the game for writing Air Force EPRs and EPBs. With this new artificial intelligence, it really helps you put all of your ideas together, and gives you the inspiration needed to write great EPR bullets. Not only does it help with EPR bullets, it can help with writing Air Force EPR narratives and also with writing Air Force decorations. It is a great tool, but it won't do all of the work for you. You'll still need to do your part and customize your work.

Hey Jody I got my job today they gave me ground transport what do you think about it in general also as an enlisted airman does afb with aero clubs teach you how to fly and do you have the time

Everyone I’ve met in ground trans say good things, however I’m never worked side by side with them so I’m not too knowledgeable. As far as clubs which teach enlisted members how to fly, I’m definitely not aware of any. You can always complete your bachelors degree while serving, and request to become an officer. As an officer, that’s when you’ll be eligible to become a pilot in the Air Force. There you’ll get all the training you need.

@@Jodywithawhy thanks but I’ve never really been interested in flying for the Airforce I just wanted to know if I could get some flight training in before my 4 year contract is up then I attend an actual flight school to finish

It’s possible, however I don’t think you’re going to get that training while on base. You’d have to seek local flights schools and then use your education benefits to help pay for it.

You think I’ll make it thru basic w a torn ACL? Never went to the doctors about it. It’s good now just pops out but can pop it back in, in .5 secs (a little leg wiggle does the trick). I can run miles on it, squat and everything?

If you never went to a Dr. how do you know it is a torn ACL? I would go to a Dr. and get a proper diagnosis. Whatever diagnosis get healed up first. You don't want to risk getting discharged in basic.

People have been downplaying AI, but the reality is that, it's incredibly robust, and will only exponentially get better from here on out. The ChatGPT is capable of many things, and this is only a relatively low version that is limited. Jobs will be lost. Society will be reformed. AI will be integrated into many different tasks, software, hell, even hardware. If people thought the information age revolutionized the world, imagine an AI focused world. The artificial intelligence age. There's already hardware coming out with a focus on "Neural" based processing cores allocated specifically for AI-handled tasks. No human nor search engine can come even close to what ChatGPT offers when it comes to education and inspiration as well. People still treat it like a joke but suddenly it's no longer fun and games when they utilize it and realize that that is what everything is heading towards. Cloud based services full of highly advanced and smart AIs. Hell, people even used it to create code and write scripts.

@@Ttyumbra Stable Diffusion, which allows you to run it LOCALLY on your computer, that can generate an endless amount of imagery based off of what it was trained on. And locally means it's running off of your own hardware. No internet connection required. And it's both free and open source, so anyone can contribute to it. It is very robust when utilized properly. It does require powerful hardware though. But you can get by running it on an RTX 2060 6GB however. Then there's MidJourney. Which is way better due to having a superior training set. However, it requires a subscription, and is cloud only. There's many more "art" / "image" AI generators (or diffusers, whatever you prefer to call them) such as Dall-E. ChatGPT is one the latest of the "TextAIs" to come out. It is the most robust TextAI available to the public. It is insane when it comes to what it can respond to you with. And unlike its predecessors, it can now retain context! Meaning you can have full convos with it, and it will remember what you said and respond accordingly. It can do many other things, but I already touched on that topic. There's also the OpenAI TextAIs (ChatGPT is owned by OpenAI, btw), such as text davinci 003, which is available on the OpenAI playground website.

@@partypooperpooper8576 I'm a little younger, and honestly I feel indifferent about it. It's kind of like the internet in a way. It will be utilized for both good and bad. Selfish and selfless reasons. And many more. Unfortunately, people are already trying to use it to create malicious things such as undetectable malware. When harnessed for good though, it can be possibly one of the greatest creations humanity has ever created after the information age. Hell, to put it into context. Let's say if you're struggling with the ASVAB, ChatGPT can help you understand it. It can help you in a million different ways. Teach you by dumbing down the concept. Breaking it into different parts. Putting it in a way that is more in-line with someone's familiarized tone, etc. etc.

Their servers are constantly overloaded by the masses trying to use ChatGPT. It all depends on the server usage and how much resources are being used by people. It will especially take longer if your prompt is more resource intensive and requires the AI to "think" more on how to respond back to you.

It’s an Enlisted performance report. It basically details your work performance for the year, and is kept in your personnel record. As you advance in your career, it will be reviewed to determine if you’re ready for the next position or rank.

I'm not in the Air Force anymore. I hold a mid-management position in government. It took me 3 days to write a monthly report. This report contains hundreds of points which are all numbers. The chief said he doesn't read them. When they come off the fax machine, he just files them in a drawer. I said thank you chief. The last one took me 90 minutes. Am I forfeiting my integrity? I don't care.

Problem with EPRs, trash individuals who are people persons get rated the way they shouldn't be. Have two individuals who PCSd in November getting rated out of my unit that talked a big game and made the programs they were running go to trash. How do I know, well, I took over one of the programs, I've done the job before years ago and now have to not fix the programs, but rebuild them! AF needs to stop eating people within a time frame and rate them "out-of-cycle". At that rating shouldn't count against the quota. strat them if you want. Give them a "3" if you want. But stop stacking them against people still in that unit who are continuing to contribute, wait not continuing, are contributing. Leaders unfortunately don't always see people for who they are.
