all of this is great for animation, and i don’t want y’all to think that it’s all doom and gloom, BUT do not let any of these announcements distract y’all from the fact that these companies are planning to replace animators and filmmakers with AI and writing off projects for tax purposes. keep supporting these projects, spread the word about shows that are under the radar (online and offline). we need more animated projects and we need animators to get the payments that they deserve.
I can see people's entire jobs being replaced by AI but for most jobs instead of replacing the job AI is going to enhance the person doing the job, AI can't really provide what a human can 1:1 BUT it excels in certain things that we as humans can do, that being said, AI needs humans and if humans want to be more productive we need AI and to be even more productive we need the majority of the population to be able to use the tool that is AI as effectively as possible.
Due to the acclaim of “My Adventures With Superman” and the hype for “Batman: Caped Crusader”, how come DC never considered an animated Wonder Woman series to round out their main Triumvirate?

I know you think it's mid, and that's fine I love when people have different opinions on animation, that's a good thing!!! But I have to disagree about Unicorn Warriors Eternal. It sparked something Primal (excuse the pun) in me, and reminded me of a modern take on a classic animation. It felt like I was watching She-Ra in the way where it was a remake of an older thing. Unicorn Warriors Eternal FEELS like an 80s cartoon being remade in the modern day - I think it's on purpose - And I am in love with the aesthetic. It made no sense, it was fun, I'm in love with Winston, and I just need more. I really hope we get a season 2!
Animation completey will never b a bummer and speaking of ghosts and Danny phantom a live action movie of itis on the cards and now that Winnie the Pooh steamboat Willie Mickey Mouse and the live action avatar series on Netflix is happening there the start they look good so far inside out 2 also so there we go this is good and yeh ok then
Growing up with CN was a privilege with Courage The Cowardly Dog, Regular Show, Ben 10, Codename KND etc. Its like the Spider-Man No Way Home to Deadpool & Wolverine crossover in this timeline. It also reminds me of many crossovers in pop culture like Eminem & The Punisher, Spider-Verse, 80s & 90s sitcoms, Animation Domination and much more.
I would love 2 c a courage reboot now that CN r bringing back fosters home regularl show and gumball so yeh makes sense and not just animation just kids shows in general don’t if ur American or British but some that that were on citv and cbbc I looked at the show 24 seven which 2 b on in amercia 2 on the n a block that was part of the channel noggin should do a movie of that so yeh there we go then
I just want people to create their own works for the fun of it and not get lost in clout or money grind. It requires new people to draw and to write about things they care about. I want those people to succeed not clout chasers.

It's awesome to see a bunch of new projects that could be turn out to be something really amazing. But even so a lot of shows need a lot of support right now with companies trying to replace animators and filmmakers with AI right now to where they need the support more than ever. As animators and animation need to be given the proper support both deserve for how much heart and effort goes into making these beautiful stories.

I hear there will be a season 2 of Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix on Netflix some time this year, pretty hopeful for that. It has some mixed opinions on it from what I've noticed, but I personally LOVE the show so far! I can agree with the dislike of the villain character though, definitely needed some work. But aside from that, I mostly love it, and can't wait for season 2!
I am so happy for all the shows that are gonna be on Netflix because the only thing I am gonna watch on that is gonna be my life is Netflix. I am not gonna pay anything and I’m not getting Disney because I just can’t take it. it’s my TV. Can’t even download it.

I cannot tell you how unbelievably hyped I am for the Wereworld adaptation!! The books were a major part of my childhood, and I definitely read them when I was way too young, but it was an amazing dark fantasy series that didn't pull its punches. I would be genuinely curious to see how faithful the series is to the tone of the books, as like I said, the books are quite dark and very graphic (at least from my memory of them), and I am aware that Jellyfish Pictures has previously worked on mainly more family-oriented stories. Anyway so happy to get an adaptation regardless, I've not heard many people talk about the series, so super happy to see the books getting some love!
Can we get some adult animation that isn't a sitcom or a superhero show? These things aren't bad, but media really needs to get over it's weird obsession with animation being only for kids or raunchy sitcoms.
Regarding the Oh My God Yes, its mostly because like, alot of it for me was the humor is very "Old Man who is trying to copy the kids" like shes a streamer whos creates conflict by streaming everything and getting mad whenever she has a problem and drugs have funny names??? The whole show's creator has had a singular writing credit which means we have to not only wait for the show to get its footing, but for HER to get her footing and THEN the show can get it its footing, which, yeah thats great, but adult swim has already existing shorts that people have already expressed interest in that are ALREADY GOOD that people have wanted adapted, which adds to the dislike I agree though alot of the comments were just "WOKE MEDIA"
Jentry chau vs the underworld and The doomies are giving me like Danny Phantom, gravity falls and Avatar vibes. Spider-Man Freshman year, invincible fight girl, iyanu, tales of tmnt and new Minecraft series are already gonna perform heavily as I can tell along side Cartoon networks new projects. I’m HOPING we get any new updates for Ben 10, PPG and GALACTIC kids next door on the way.
I'm gonna be honest, due to the huge drought animation has been through, I did NOT expect a miracle this big to happen. Looks like 2025 will be a great year for animation.
This is awesome!!! I feel like since the end of the Owl House, we’ve been kinda starved for some good animation. Plus, there’s some great things coming up on the indie scene like Mandelbrot Hall and Atlas and the Stars. Things are looking up in the animation world!!!

I don't mind them continuing with their lackluster comedy series, but could we please get more action/adventure-oriented series akin to series like Justice League, Teen Titans, Ben 10, and Generator Rex?
Actually finished watched the whole video and am pretty much sad crying 😭 that probably about 60- 75 precent of the new shows announced might not be very good tbh😅most of the stuff isn’t even coming out till 1-2 years down the line too! My soul is going back under the covers

Animators have to stop giving their time, money and effort to these corporate monsters.....I'm begging my creators to stop 🛑 giving them your ideas....once you give it to them you as the.l artist no longer own it, period. We need to go back to crowd funding or something that doesn't give corporates any say in the creative department.... capitalism doesn't belong in creativity period. We lose so many good shows and stories because of it 🤷🏿♀️...plus once they get the money from these shows they're making they'll probably cancel them....
Sadly, I have no desire to watch any of these shows on these networks, any desire to watch any new seasons of currently running American animated programs (Not even Invincible!) or even any upcoming American animated series. I'm going indie because Corporate Greed ruined the Entertainment Industry for me, for everyone. It's just not worth it anymore seeing how people like Zaslav who don't give a damn about animation & originality & prefer cookie cutter reality shows & cheap reboots while screwing people over by trying to replace them with AI.
It would be a huge wasted opportunity not to make the regular show revival for adult swim. I want to see regular show completely unrestrained, combining the raunchy humor of close enough with the psychedelic imagery and fantastical scenarios of the original regular show series. It would be right at home with shows like smiling friends and rick and morty .
Phineas and Ferb coming back would be siiiiiiiiick and a continuation my god I'll be there. I hoped they'd be a older/the age they are in "act your age" I'd actually die then revive myself to see it lol. More original IP I'm excited for Wereworld, Jentry Chau and TMNT MM The series I'll be definitely be watching. Invincible fight girl, Iyhad, StuGo. I'll have to check Primos. Tomb Raider, DMC series, SMMA (if it's anything like Regular Show god I'm watching that as soon as it comes out, I'll give this new show a go) OMG YES! I'll be checking out seems fun and if it's anything like the other shows you mentioned I'll be down. I need to get into Primal but still need to finish Samurai Jack. Creature Commandos I'll give a try to check the vibe of the new universe. Caped Crusader is on prime so I'm eating good would like a Spectacular Spider-Man continuation.
