Even though you were with OM&M when “when you can’t sleep at night” was released, it is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard and was my wedding song. That was easily because of your voice. I cannot wait for the acoustic music!!
Man I've been rocking blindside since it came out. Probably the best song you've released in my opinion. Would 100% support a crowd sourced album like I did last time. I still listen to Mr. Pain all the time so definitely got my money's worth.

With the state of social media i would imagine it's hard to get a gauge for anticipation or excitement pre release. The sites themselves are actively making it harder for artists to reach fans and I've noticed people are leaving platforms in general. Esp Facebook. Very slow, next to no engagements with the band page unless you pay. Just keep making your art and trust the fans are here and we're eagerly awaiting your next move. Would love to see you come to Tampa!

Great song release! I’ve been listening to you guys since 2017. Still one of my favorite bands by far. Love the acoustic idea and wanting to diversify your music. I highly recommend for the 4th album you don’t try to change it up too much. Your style is what makes you stand out. Every album from Dayshell-Mr.Pain is different and unique but it’s always had that dayshell style to it that is quick to recognize. Keep that. Best of luck!!

I was the fat dude who got star struck. We’ve talked briefly on Twitter. I was one of the premier ppl for Blindside and sent it to everyone I knew. I write all this to say, RU-vid didn’t show me this video. I had to find it myself unfortunately months later. Didn’t even see sh’t about AKG til I just had a craving for Dayshell. I know it's sounds so cliche, but you were basically there for me when nobody was. My life as been such a roller coaster ride in those past 3 years. You we're there for me in so many circumstances. I found DS through my Spotify Discover Weekly list (ALWAYS delivers bangers for me) and fell dead into the hands of the man himself, Mr. Bourget, (side note: didn't know he was with OM&M). And Blindside fucking RIPS. The main riff has so much energy and drive behind it without being overly complicated. It's the polar opposite of FeelFly (another fucking phenomenal job and the epitome of a metal ballad IMO, it hits so many nerves and has such deep meaning and that is EXACTLY what I look for in music and what I'm MOST excited for when I discover new music, DS just kicked that up a notch) in that Blindside has some hard hitting metal riffage, that will play to those more hardcore listeners while still touching in the light, ambient atmosphere that adds substance to the music, all while having lyrics with a darker theme, and a very relatable message in there. There are a ton of bands at the top of my playlist, among them are Kingdom Collapse, Ghost Iris, Imminence, Annisokay, Orbit Culture, ERRA, and Insomnium to name a few, and Dayshell, from the first listen of the 3 respective songs that are, occupy the first 3 spots on my main list, and from first listen, all 3 went straight to and have remained at, the top. Keep on man, you're building one hell of a fan base. One question, what tuning are you in? Guitar wise, I've tried Drop C (from OM&Ms stuff), B, A, G, and all the way to Drop E, and I can't get it to sound right, especially that first stupid low note, unless that's a low C on a bass and it's just more noticed in the mix. I'd love to accurately emulate DS stuff
