Hey everyone! Golf+ is great, I still play it to this day and will continue to play it. I'll make sure to update what it does to my IRL swing, since I will be going golfing next week potentially. This is also the first full video I made in Davinci Resolve. There are some growing pains there and they show up in the video. I will continue to work to get the quality up for these videos while working in Davinci Resolve.
Awesome video! I wanted to add that I have also had a blast playing this game with @moreRespawn and share a lot of the same impressions that he does. It really is surprisingly accurate, especially once you get the Golf club attachment. Can't wait to get back out on the course to try and break 90!
I have tried to talk a few friends into getting the game. I tell them that for $400 all in you can get a brand new quest 2. Kiwi designs vented face cushion, kiwi designs hedstrap/battery, club attachment. The game itself and the $80 yearly subscription. Its sounds a touch steep at first, but so worth it in my opinion. Great vid. Ill see you on the course 🫡.
Best part was the Twitch plug! It may sound silly but I think it would be great fun to add mini golf into this - the fundamentals are all there already.
I have been enjoying your golf+ series and I've started playing it again after not loading it up in over a year. I'd like to recommend another great VR sports game for you to check out. If you enjoy bowling in the slightest, you should try premium bowling. It is the best bowling game on the quest, very realistic, good pin physics, and a lot of fun. They offer tournaments for you to join every couple of hours and also weekly tournament play. It could make for some new channel content if you do indeed enjoy it. Keep it up, I can't watch live very much on twitch but try to catch most of your RU-vid uploads when I have the free time.

the extensive stat tracking and the extensive range would be great for a non vr golf game. here's hoping they eventually expand either to non vr gaming or to launch monitor sim market.
This is a good game that is flawed. Correctly positioning your feet in real golf is critical to a good shot. unfortunately this game does not show your feet so you just have to guess if you're feet are correctly postioned. You can hit a perfect shot but if you guessed wrong about your feet postion it will be a bad shot. This is something you have no control over. it's still a fun game worth playing if only for the exercise but it could be a great game if the devs fix this flaw.
Was this your first experience with VR? I have yet to try VR, it does seem gimmicky. I wonder how they could implement fat and thin shots? That would make it crazy good. I'm pretty close to a scratch golfer, so the more realistic the better!
Yep, I just got the headset and this was my first game on it. I have now played a few games on it, even some chiller ones like fishing, and it has been awesome. It is truly a wild experience in a gaming space. I am also curious to see how realistic they can get it. There is definite room for improvement, and we will see what it does to my IRL swing.
@@MoreRespawn tracking the center of the headsets position could help them simulate whether your center of gravity is behind the ball, leading to fat shots, or to far ahead leading to tops and thin shots.

This game is something that’s become of interest lately for me Although the buy in price is kinda crazy for the headset golf grip attachment game & then courses .. That and I’m just not interested in VR outside of this game like this is the one thing that peaks my interest because it does look like a lot of fun! & a simulator … I don’t think it’s quite at that level from what I’ve heard & apparently playing this made some peoples swings feel awful irl after playing but I mean idk just feels like a misconception to me that shit golfers say oh it made my swing feel bad like they ever had a good swing LOL I feel like if you play golf enough irl it shouldn’t affect your swing that majorly maybe if you take huge brakes and play this more then sure perhaps it makes irl golf feel weird lol! I can’t imagine this game helps your IRL golf game all that much though tbh like it could potentially help with alignment with your club face and how you set up to the ball.. & it could potentially help with getting you to turn over your hips for shots etc.. but as for club feel & hitting shots at range like idk obviously I haven’t tried but I just can’t imagine the feedback is there to be able to judge for say a 20ft chip shot execute that in game & have it feel the same irl .. But it definitely looks like a lot of fun .. Idk if it’ll take over the golfing gaming space because of the price point of VR still but it definitely seems like a great tool to get people into golf & perhaps learning a few core things
