With regard to the section on streaming films v disc, the picture quality of streaming isn't far off discs now, but the big difference is the sound. If you watch through a TV you probably won't hear much of a difference, but if you have a half decent home cinema system, disc absolutely trounces streaming on sound quality. It really doesn't come ANYWHERE close. I think that it will be a long time before movie streaming comes close to matching the picture and sound quality of disc, and I base this view on the fact that music streaming from the main providers has only recently moved to "CD quality" (or above) in the last 12+ months or so, despite platforms like spotify having already been around for 15 years.
For me the future of sound lies with the likes of apple and amazon, I think the will eventually allow to link multiple speakers together with their streaming device. I have two Echo studios paired and if you would link echo dots to it would be an Interesting way to go got a apple 4k with two homepods mini linked to it. I thinking would be great to link lots of homepod minis would be good
