Oh I hope sooooo, it would make me so sad if there's no the sims 5 ToT If they confirmed that project rene is something aside and that they still plan on making the sims 5 I would probably be more welcoming to project rene xDDD Although if the sims 5 is a worse version of sims 4 then I'm ok AHAHAHA
Just hoping that project rene is just gonna be a sims mobile sucsessor and they will take AT LEAST 3 years to create the sims 5 and not 1 year like they did with the sims 4 cause if they just take their time for the sims 5 cause that’s gonna be the only thing that will save the franchise (we can wait another 5 years we already almost survived 10 😂) (I basically don’t want project rene to be the sims 5)
After games like inzoi and paralives being announced I think EA really started to think where they went wrong. And in my opinion it's really strange that the first sims game launched in 2000, second one is launched in 2004 and the third one launched in 2009, The Sims 4 has been released 10 YEARS AGO and it still wouldn't be anything without all the modders. I thought Project Renee was going to be something like The Sims 5, but now that I watched your video I realized that it's nothing like that. Even though they are trying so hard to save The Sims 4, I think they should invest in a new game bcs it's literally bullshit now. They made 82 packs and stuffs and kits and in my country they are super expensive. Even if you live in the US you have to pay 520 dollars only for the packs? That's nonsense. These are my opinions, I think they should make a new game from scratch and not some online mobile game which simmers do not even wanted in the first place.
Yeeeees!! Totally agree!! It's very good that EA has some sort of competition now! I honestly wish they start focusing on making the sims 5 what the sims 4 should have been...They have 3 different successful games to look back at and collect the best elements of each, they really could make a masterpiece with the sims 5 ToT
Project Rene is so strange to me. It sure sounds like we are just getting another Sims Online and I don't think that did very well. Hears to hoping for a better and actual Sims game!!
I am a long term Sims player, I have played every iteration since the original release in 2001 that was isometric. I think Maxis might be using Project Rene as a platform to test systems that might make it into the Sims 5. I don't think it's the next Sims main title.
I don't find Project Rene to be promising or fun. It doesn't sound fun. I have a family member that has been playing the sims since the beginning, but I started during Sims 2. I did more gameplay in Sims 3, but was already noticing how broken the packs were and nothing was being done to fix them. Sims 4 had better CAS, but I spend less time in gameplay and just build or make sims when I feel inspired. Still the packs are getting worse and worse and more broken than ever. In the past year I have started looking for other games that can give me what I use to love about the Sims and I have barely touched the Sims game or even missed it. I don't think the Sims will die off right away, but it has been slowly dying over time. Holding out hope is what the Sims Community does well, but I'm getting really exhausted at the disappointment I feel when a pack does not live up to it's price tag, or is put out broken (and never fixed). I am putting my money to other games that won't flood me with a rollercoaster of emotions.
Oh gosh yesss exactly! Sims 3 was very ambitious and was full of good ideas but it had a lot of bugs and it wasn't very optimized, Sims 4 kept the bugs but it's not ambitious and managed to be more buggy, glitchy and just broken really :( If you don't mind sharing I would love to know what other games you've been trying out! I'm looking for other games to play too haaahahahaha xD
@@bloomberries I tried Fae Farm (cute and cozy), then I started Coral Island and I love it. Opening up the world of Coral Island is so fun. As far as something similar to the Sims, there are games in the works coming out or in early access, but I don't want to deal with early access bugs. Meanwhile, I'm waiting for them and trying some of the free to play games on steam until another sim game with the great storylines of Sims 2, the great gameplay of Sims 3 and the great CAS of Sims 4 is ready to play. Hopefully that's not too much to ask for.
Ohh I've a lot of people saying good things about fae farm! I'll definitely check it out! I've started playing Coral Island and yeah I'm actually loving it! Thank you so much! Oh yeah if they combine those features in one sims game it would be insaaanely good!
Actually no it wasn't only canceled for PlayStation 5 It was canceled in general They're working on a different project called The Sims Labs gamer rant and many other websites actually have articles that are archived that you can still find the links of that confirm the Sims 5 was completely canceled and was indeed project Rene but people are too lazy to do the research obviously I would put the URLs in here but I can't because channels on RU-vid a bunch of them literally block you putting URLs that prove your right about things So I can't prove that I'm right because this channel and other channels like it block evidence
I think Project Rene is just a mobile 'cash cow' game; stretched across the game platforms. PlayStation has standards that must be met before they allow a game on their system. I think the Sims 5 game hasn't been announced yet.
We don't know yet... ;/ There are rumors going around that they're canceling the game, but these are just rumors, people are making assumptions afflter seeing employees being moved from project Rene to The Sims 4. Buuut it might be that they've just given up on releasing it for ps5... It's quite hard and expensive to have a cross-platform game on the ps5 so maybe EA didn't think it was worth it? Idk.... Well I guess we'll just have to wait for an official announcement from EA
