I would really not want to see a Tron land they need to keep tomorrowland as original as they can but updated. Nobody wants to see it refurbished into a Tron land just because the original concept is dated. I think Disney could work around this personally.
Tomorrowland should’ve gotten the Discoveryland treatment that happened in Paris. That is by far the best version of the land. Imagine them upgrading Space to have that Jules Verne style to it…tear out the Speedway for a new 20,000 Leauges…i would’ve relocated Carousel of Progress to one of the offshoot streets on Main Street. That would open up a major area for expansion…where I would’ve demoed Dreamflight/Buzz and Monsters Inc/Timekeeper for a new version of Journey to the Center of the Earth. They could stylize the people over and the Astro Orbiter to fit the rest of the area, and then I’d stick meet and greets in the old Stitch building.
Disney legal team won’t let visitors use the new halo tile floor… if anything it will be used for visitors to use the force to push a box, or some thing with movements of the hand from afar. But the main usage is for performance use with cast members. Just think about how on Parade floats modern day cast members are tied off on a 2 foot leash. All they can do is move their hands, but if they’re on the new floor they can move their feet now.
They Should Tear Down the Tomorrowland Speedway because that Ride has Already been Outdated. Also, They Should Close the Buzz Lightyear Ride into Something that is Related to If You Had Wings.
Disney is losing their way as these new cultural hired based imagineers care less and less about the cohesiveness of the parks and Walt’s dream. Tron ride needs its own 5th gate where Disney can compete with universal.
I’d love to see the Tomorrowlands of Disneyland and Magic Kingdom get reimagined and transformed into New Tomorrowlands with a timeless sci-fi feel with Tomorrowland at Disneyland reimagined as Tomorrowland 2055 and Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom reimagined as Tomorrowland+ or Discoveryland or Tomorrowland 2112, still keeping the sci-fi spaceport theme with an original story tying the land together and a few attractions being part of the story. The TRON Lightcycle Run coaster could be part of a TRON-themed mini-land called “Tomorrowland Space Grid” that could be part of the Tomorrowland story and that would take guests from the main Tomorrowland section into an intergalactic space grid inside a space station arcade.
I don't know about that opinion about Tron Light cycle Run "destroying" cohesiveness of Tomorrowland, it's literally the most "Tomorrowland" attraction ever added to Tomorrowland, even more so than Space Mountain I think.
I think tron land would be cool, but DO NOT TOUCH TOMORROWLAND!!! Just change the stitch ride to a unique original experience. I like how it shows it age, but they can do small updates.
Let me start with saying that I love the Magic Kingdom, although Tomorrow Land has always felt the most bland out of the 4 areas in the park. Therefore I think Tomorrow Land deserves more attention and love especially seeing the other Tomorrow Land adaptations throughout the Disney parks in other countries. Great video idea, love the care you put into your videos. Keep it up!
Ok I don’t know where but I feel that there should be a Lilo and stitch thing it’s one of the most popular movies and it’s a darn shame that their best representation in the Florida parks is now merchandise i’m not saying stitches. Great escape should come back although I did like that ride. But I’m saying that some stitch ride should be in the Disney Florida parks. Maybe instead of laugh before they could bring over stitch encounter from Tokyo I think it’s a pretty cool concept and I’d love to see it in English a roller coaster, where you hop in the red space ship could be cool as well I don’t know Lilo and stitch. It’s just my favorite Disney movie so I decided to spitball some ideas.
13:53 As much as I’d love to see a new Space Mountain at MK, OLC, which owns Tokyo Disney wants its original attractions to be more exclusive/unique to Tokyo, so a new Space Mountain is sadly unlikely to happen at MK.
We may not get a clone of Tokyo’s new version, but WDI could develop a new version of Space Mountain exclusive for MK, with all new features/infrastructure.
I had and idea that I think you could make a great video out of the idea would be; if Universal bought WDW and revamped everything. I hope you can try doing this.
You want to get rid of the best two attractions in Tomorrowland,Space Mountain and Carousel of Progress and turn the land into Tron,a movie nobody's seen or cares about?????Redo both Carousel of Progress and Space Mountain and make the area more edgy futuristic instead of the drab,bland Tomorrowland we have.
I agree, yes Tomorrowland needs renovation but does not need an entire Tron section of the park since it would never fit into the Magic Kingdom. Although a when the new Tron movie releases a 2 day makeover would be cool similar to how stitch takes over the park.
Tomorrowland should be about science and innovation. whereas star wars is about a galaxy far away this is about our galaxy and our solar system. new and iconic movies should be equally represented. tron, flight of the navigator, old steampunk Jules Verne because Disney did several classic movies. i want the Nautilus returned. the skyway gondola should be returned and updated. space mountain should be a thrill ride and an immersive walk thru with an epcot vibe. a massive Tesla coil and the future of energy. the care and reversal of human harm to the planet and eco system could be its own pavilion. perhaps a world class state of the art interactive science and industry museum. oh and banish all star wars from tomarrowland.
