As an artist I am HORRIFIED about AI as a whole. AI can never replicate the passion that people put into real art since AI is just a bunch of stolen slop. I even saw on Twitter about a boba store starting to use AI images :( I personally believe that AI should be used as a tool rather than to replace us. AI should ENHANCE what we already have and ASSIST in more complex things but not completely take and replace our jobs.
As a musician, yeah the future kinda scares me too. I've seen artists use almost completely AI for their stuff, and really talented people in the industry could not tell the difference.
The Ultron example was actually pretty hilarious, honestly if I was an AI, I would only need to look at the internet for less than nanosecond and would probably want to destroy everything…
Art. Then music, heck, in a couple years, story writing. Which industry is next? Even some software stuff is being replicated with AI. This is genuinely frightening. The apple thing is literally Detroit: Become Human all again.

I think the difference between AI and other advancements is that it’s very possible that it’s going to take away people’s ability to create unlike past inventions that helped us find more opportunities to create more. I’m afraid because I want to find a job in animation, but I’m afraid that if I do I might get replaced.
Alright, who decided it was "Make Kathy dread the future and overthink about sociatal issues before finals" week? I swear this is like the third video in addition to all of my professors and classes that is trying to scare me this week. In all reality, I can't just keep my head in the sand. I'm an artist and a writer, and I agree, lol. AI's getting kinda scary. We'll be our downfall cuz humans want to make cool murderous robots for the thrill. Great video as always! ❤️💙🤖
3:21 thank you!! that’s been my fears the whole time, except for the Terminator part I never seen those movies. But that’s been my entire fear for the longest our government is literally wanting to put Ai in our military, oh sure that’s a good idea what could possibly go wrong, just like apparently we also want AI driven robot cops oh sure what can possibly go wrong there too. just like we’re getting Ai driven cars, cars that can drive their selves using AI. Oh sure what could possibly go wrong, it ain’t like the liability of humans driving is less worse than trusting AI not to screw up by failing to recognize a danger or failing to stop or steer past stuff or not to get hacked. I say we just drive ourselves and not use Ai because at least we people can’t get hacked and we can make better judgment to dangers compared to machines only thing that could happen with us is if we have a stroke while we’re behind the wheel of a car or if we’re drunk behind the wheel of a car. I’ll take human input over Ai anytime, I’m not saying we can’t use stuff like chatGPT as long as we use it responsibly.
The Terminator movies were so good, they taught me one valuable thing…….. The ability to *calmly* ask the next person “WHOS IDEA WAS IT TO CREATE THIS BOT SO CASUALLY NAMED AFTER A KINGDOM HEARTS CHARACTER TO MAKE THE *REAL* SKYNET AND POSSIBLY THE ONES BEFORE WAS THE PERFECT IDEA!?” so I can show them my most recent trick I learned, Earthbending.
I'm also scared of AI, but I just want to believe that things will be ok, because people like you, Danno, make genuine content straight from the heart for the world to see. You inspire me and many other more than you'll probably ever understand, and that's a beautiful thing.
the only thing that makes me SLIGHTLY believe it wont happen is that someone brought up how people have always thought that their generation would be the last.

Ai also scares me as an artist. The fact that something like that can probably ruin a hobby that I actively enjoy hurts me. I just pray that the government actually does something about it, because if not, yeahhh we’re screwed 😭
I am an Animator and im genuinely terrified for my work on RU-vid and I really hope that AI doesn’t take over content creators and artists because it’s something im really passionate about But hey I can atleast say “bAcK iN mY dAy BeFoRe AI tRiEs tO *KILL US CONSTANTLY!* ”

The funniest part about AI is that the only way we can make sure that it won't replace us is to be extremely racist towards it, making racism a good thing

Fun fact: once somebody tried to run an AI simulation with a military drone it was tasked to kill a specific group of people want to kill the specific amount it was called back it did not obey instead Killed more then to kill innocent people and then killed the tower that was giving an instructions. Then they ended the simulation. So that was the fun fact of the day. :)
I want to study AI because I think it’s a great TOOL to ASSIST actual artists or help in the way ChatGPT does, but I’m actually scared of where other people want to take it
Just as all government officials should watch Terminator, I feel all the big media companies should find out about the Willy Wonka experience. That was event made by a company who wholeheartedly put their faith in AI and look where it brought them. If Disney, WB, Netflix, etc. knew that that is what AI can bring them, they'd probably avoid it like the plague.
I saw this video of a guy that built an entire robot that can literally do what you say. It can talk, give you something to eat, and WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE IT’LL LEARN. IT’S LITERALLY THE MITCHELLS VS. THE MACHINES IN REAL LIFE.
