I know the Metroid theme was so good. To bad the rest of the game had ehh music Metroid dread is a near flawless game but besides the theme the music was a kiss for me
The vocalists in 2019 killed it and that is indisputable If adaptations of Sankarin Tango and Saudade were made in the style of how they were in the medley I’d listen to them 24/7
My Medley Prediction: The Rush - Hi Fi Rush Greater Together - Marvel’s Spider Man 2 Staff Roll - Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Raphael’s Final Act - Baldur’s Gate 3 Find The Flame - Final Fantasy XVI The Bullet or The Blade - Resident Evil 4 Remake
Every year i hear this it's like the final battle of the games that made an impression that year and they all enter the battlefield with their theme songs!! Im so glad that TGA always does emotional celebration of games each year! Im so proud to be a gamer 🥲🥰

All of them are great, but to me, the *TGA 2022 orchestra* is the *GREATEST* of them all and the one to beat IMO! (Though, the *TGA 2018 orchestra is a close 2nd* and I ESPECIALLY love the way they used the *Spider-man tune* at the very end to close that particular orchestra!)

See, this is a subgenre I like to call "Superbowl Orchestra." It's like the NFL theme with the heavy brass and marching-band-esque drumming, getting your adrenaline pumping even if you're like me and don't like sports.
Top faverout MOMENTS from the the game award: 2018-"read it boy"-christopher judge 2019-MUPPETS bunsen and beaker vs a goose and the orchestra 2020-THE LAST OF US PART 2 WINNING AWARDS (not) 2021-MR fuck the oscars guys company winning game of the year and Jim carrys questionable Scottish accent 2022-Flute guy,Death stranding 2 announced and the god of war vs elder ring battle
@@dreamtoast1553 to be fair I'd rather have ghost of tsushima or Hades then the last of us winning all of the awards that year it only won cause of that COVID virus and some games got postponed so yeah they got lucky
Is it just me or these dropped down in quality of orchestration from 2018-2019? Those year's mashups were on fire. It's not that games music wasn't good enough in the consequent years, it's just the orchestra didn't do it justice.
I think 2022 was just too quiet? There's obvious quality there but it seemed as if the stream toned it down. Also I agree with the dude above me, 2020 is my personal favorite. 2023 bout to be a banger too with Zelda, FF, Spiderman, Baldur's Gate
