The Game Chasers head to a brand new out-of-state flea market for some game hunting and see something Jay knows he has to have. Meanwhile, an electronic store goes out of business leaving behind some amazing relics of the past. They find factory-sealed new old stock in one of the most amazing retro gaming finds caught on camera

Jay’s pretty lucky that it was Chris who bought it too. I can almost guarantee that it would have been sold the very next day considering how complete it was. I knew Jay’s cheapness was something of legend but this was an instance that it got the best of him and he should bit the bullet on it. I think Chris said it best: “IT’S HALF OFF!!!”

Congrats on number 50. What an epic second half to this episode! It's a cautionary tale about the risks of waiting too long or being too cheap; more often than not, leaving an item behind too many times will eventually lead to someone buying it out from under you. In this case (as Chris pointed out in the video), I would've bought the whole thing and sold the SCD/Genesis to recoup some of the money.

This is one of the best episodes of Game Chaser seeing Jay & Chris go back and fourth over that Sega case is so entertaining! Jay wants that case so bad! To be honest I wanted Jay to wind up with the case because I know how much he played the Sega growing up so I know he has mad nostalgia for it but I wanted to see him squirm for a bit first

That thing was sitting there for months. If no one bought it then it wasn't worth what they were originally charging. By that logic I can make our DVD's 200 bucks each then blame the people who dont buy them as why we aren't making money.

Terrific episode. Sad to see an amazing place like that go under. Just goes to show how important collectors are in preserving this kind of history. Hopefully when the nostalgia is gone from people who grew up with all of this, there will still be further generations interested in it.

I don't know how I managed to be in this episode but I skipped through that part once I saw myself. I see enough of that dude in the mirror. Don't need to see him here. 50 episodes in congrats guys you have done an amazing job on this show and it's what got me into watching other game hunting channels. Seeing Jay squirm for that Sega Genesis/CD case is a moment in Game Chasing history that needs to be preserved just like all these old video games because it's not very often if at all we will see it again.

On my old channel, I reviewed Chuck Norris Superkick's, thanks to emulation, and it was the 2600 version, it's pretty interesting. Might have to do a review of either the 2600 or Colecovision version in the future lol. Nice to see you guys talk about the Apple II. When I was in grade school, I think it was Kindergarten to 2nd grade, we had Apple II PC's in the computer class. Then later on it was macintosh PC's, etc. I don't know of any stores exactly like that around my area, but local game stores are here and there, and I will always support them before I support a GameStop, can't stand Gamestop anyways lol. Congrats on the 50 episode \,,/

Great episode and great finds, guys! Also congrats on making it to 50 episodes. I remember getting into the show when I first saw episode 20 on Retroware. Since then, I've been hooked onto the show/channel. It's awesome how far you guys have gotten. Looking forward to more stuff in the future.
