So, I haven't checked, has anyone besides me commented on how Napalm Man's weapon is "The N-Bomb" yet? And a few minutes later, they do.

The thing at the end of Mega Man 7 and it's, "I'm gonna kill you" was actually a localization choice by the translation team of Capcom USA. Wily tells Mega Man that robots are unable to harm humans. In the Japanese script, Mega Man replies, "......" and stops charging his buster. Just ellipses. In the English localization, they changed that to, "I am more than a robot, die Wily!"... with his buster uncharged. If you've ever wondered why Mega Man stopped charging his buster after threatening Wily as he did, the reason is because the cutscene was never intended with him threatening Wily in mind, lol. The entire purpose of Mega Man X is that X is the first robot Dr. Light ever made that *could* decide to take a human's life if he wanted to do so (and why Reploids/Mavericks were such a big deal and could do things like drop space colonies and wipe out tons of humans- that couldn't have happened in the classic series games). The Mega Man of the classic series was never able to take a human's life.

It's so weird hearing them talk about how good Ben is at editing their show, because I remember when he first came on as the current editor, for no real reason tons of fans were just against his style of editing and going above and beyond what was necessary for the show. Then after just a few episodes, with no major changes (at least what I noticed), everyone had a 180 and suddenly loved his editing. I guess it was just resistance to change, but it's weird how fast and sudden it was. Personally, he reminds me a lot of Barry with how much effort he puts into editing the show. Good luck to Barry with what he's been doing. He's a great guy.

A few years ago Japan amended Article IX, which allowed them to actually have a military. Though they can still only participate in purely defensive wars.

As someone living in Japan, I can say the the translator Arin is talking about gets daily use from me. Even if it's not the most accurate every so often. Also, Japan has a military. The Japanese constitution bans war as a means of settling international disputes, and military maintenance.

This episode sounds like a compilation of everything they ever said that could be taken out of context.

Dan's got such a smooth voice, he could read anything and make it sound interesting. Would actually find it funny if he read a manual for something throughout an episode for no reason. Makes me almost miss the sanic fanfics...

"Japan doesn't have an army" - Super incorrect, the Japanese Self Defense Force is one of the most well funded militaries in the world, like it's ahead of the UK in spending. The deal is that the SDF doesn't operate any technology for waging war outside of Japan, for example, a carrier task force. This no longer has anything to do with USA restrictions, it's a law that the Japanese people created because they didn't want a runaway military regime to take over the country again. Nowadays, they are rethinking that law, what with the North Koreans, Chinese and Russians getting up in their biz.
