I think last year he broke one dart and had no spare , i think it was in players championship , he had to continue with 2 darts and did pretty good . he did show some sense of humor there and for me i like him more since that incident .
James Wade is STILL on the tour? This is awesome. I always liked his game and thought he should've won a few more big titles. He just happened to be playing when Phil Taylor and Raymond Van Barneveld were winning everything. Then, along came MVG. I do like the spread of talent these days. Humphries, Littler, Bunting, MVG, Cross, Smith and a few other decent players. Littler is just like MVG when he broke through as a youngster. He could be anything and his averages are insane. Luke Humphries though is the most consistent player I've seen since Phil 'The Power' Taylor. Smooth and deadly.
I have spotted that mvg he does a albue movement/twist or whatever you call it. He does it every time he walks past the opponent when the other player is on the oche.

I can't forget how he was in a final with Luke Humphries and had darts for the win , its not that long ago , and see how it went with Luke and Dirk since that final , its hard to grasp. Its clear by now Dirk lost a lot of confidence and needs some wins to get in better shape .
Ohh no Cameron you naughty boy you did it again! The one thing you where not supposed to do. Beating Barney, and even making him look bad on home soil no less. What where you thinking?
Brilliant Menzies! 🥰 And Wattimena really updated himself on another level since a time. Could do big things this weekend. Btw: How the trophy is looking this WE? Is it different to the ugly NeoBet plexiglas disks they get in Germany? Will it be a golden safety shoe?
This is the worst darts crowd i’ve ever seen!!! If you wanna whistle & boo, THEN GO AHEAD!!! This is completely unacceptable for the players to have to listen to out of order crowds.
Finally happy that Dirk wins something again. And Barney… No words for his performance tonight, probably ranks right up there for top 10 worst RVB performances
that is the best example, why i don't want to visit such a event. The audience only comes to drink alcohol, spread bad vibes and ruin other people's day. I always thought the Germans, my fellow countrymen, were a bad crowd, but the Netherlands goes one better. The interest in the sport is only secondary at European events and also at major events. The main thing is to drink alcohol. The PDC needs to do something about this. Just look at all the drunken, disguised idiots running around there.
Can't take this 'Darts For The Buffoons' too seriously, even if it does pay the bills. Playing a full day Floor Darts without pressure/help from the buffoons is the real test
Everyone's banging on about some kid called Lou Clittler, give me Cameron Menzies any day, great personality, great sportsmanship, super animated, I luff heem!
@@jimmelton5846 You are right in your assessment however Menzies is engaged and engaging in a way that Clittler probably never will be. Darts has always been a great spectacle with big personalities and the PDC has certainly brought a certain pzazz to the presentation but at the cost of lying in bed with gambling consortia. The trouble with any vice is that it is ultimately insatiable, look at ponzi schemes and multinational corporations stealing pension funds and the like. The best players rarely are the most passionate or interesting interviewees. When Bristow was top dog I was always more excited to watch Jocky Wilson, Adie Lewis was more fun to watch than Taylor, etc. etc. I love the game of darts and I'd say we are witnessing its golden era right now; so many wonderfully talented players, well presented and attended tournaments, and more than enough excitement to keep even the most jaded misanthrope entertained. I just hope this isn't spoiled by any under the table shenanigans that maybe a green youngster could be inadvertently cajoled into! So yes, Jim, I agree about the "fit to change flights" motif, but, oh, what a next few years we have in store eh? The only improvement I would make is allowing the players to smoke and drink on stage again.
The money for going out in the 1st and 2nd rounds isn't much, so how do players like Wade, DeSousa, Barnie and others make it financial feasible to stay on tour going all around Europe? They have to be losing money.
Ranking points keeps them in more tournaments with an easier run, they might make a loss on certain events but it gives them an advantage to make more money in other stuff
@@entertheste I figure perhaps the sponsors are picking up the expenses for them. Could they also be getting paid an appearance fee (Barney in Netherlands for example).
Well im disappointed . Every shot , every out , i expected Menzies to hit . I expected at least 1 ninedarter and maybe even 2 !! The game of his Life !! And surely i expected it to be 6-0 . So there you go , another bad spoiler that just spoils all the fun !!
This crowd is awfully behaved. Absolutely terrible. There are so rarely crowds this poorly behaved even with the amount of piss that darts crowds drink.
Callan rydz is the worst mental player in the pdc circuit. Frustrated after losing one leg which means nothing much on this stage of game - check Stupid no score because he more than giving himself a chance prefer frustration - check. No hopes in his eyes after loosing few legs - check. Handshake in f off way after match because he cant show respect loosing - check. He need to work on himself not changing throw again
