Well in the end Richard brought the best car since Oliver pretty much went through the journey (almost) perfectly

except hammond was the only one to make it all the way and didn't need to rip up his car to do it

Because Wilman and Clarkson are a great combination and it ticks so many different boxes. Lads messing about having fun. Cars. Travel programme. Sit com levels of humour. Superb locations, great filming and sound and interesting sound tracks Superb post production and editing. Verbal humour. Silent humour. Visual background humour stuff too. Interesting facts too that are just dropped in conversationally. So much going on.

*at times* they had a genuine friendship. All three have talked about times when they had fallings out and did not consider each other friends but simply colleagues. They have all talked about times when they thought about quitting TG because they just hated each other (and yes, I use hated, not disliked). Tbh, you can see it when you watch episodes like these (challenge ones) as to whether they were in the middle of a fight. JM quit smoking whilst on TG, but both RH and JM went through periods, both singularly and together, when they were pissed at JC's smoking addiction.
