Rod Woodson is the definition of BUILT DIFFERENT. What a performance! I did not get to witness Rod play for the Steelers but I cannot believe how good he was!
The Steelers defense absolutely DESTROYED the Saints all across the board. I hope that the 2023 Steelers defense can have a few games like this... Just absolutely dominant!
I had missed uploading these old highlights and cannot wait to do more!

Absolutely. Think about it: Woodson, Greene, Lloyd. We're always among the leaders in sacks(as a team). They earned the nickname Blitzburgh. And if it weren't for Neil O'Donnell gift wrapping 2 INTs in Super Bowl XXX, they might have won that game. I kinda doubt it but maybe lol

I'd seen highlights of this game back in the day but I was unaware of how lopsided this game was and I didn't think the Saints were 6-0 entering this game. I also forgot that Bill Cowher just 2 years before the 93 season was DC for KC.

Loved these 90s videos! Wow great memories of great men that wore the black and gold! A couple of players I wish we never let go elsewhere including Leroy Thompson and Deon Figures. Thanks!

Leroy Thompson was from my hometown in Knoxville, TN. He played his high school football at one of my rival schools. He was a beast at the time, and he and the rest of his team dominated my team when we played them, and they eventually won the state championship that year (1986). Interesting that he would end up at Penn State despite the great recruiting efforts by our hometown college Tennessee, but he was impressed by Penn State coach Joe Paterno and knew he had a better chance of winning playing at Penn State who ironically was coming off a national championship season at the time.
