one of the depeche mode copy cats from the early 80's new wave scene, can't remember his name but he was hanging about with Stacy Q with the mad hair doo
Raseiniai Heroes' Medal Destroy at least 14 enemy vehicles in one (1) Standard, Assault, or Encounter; or destroy at least 21 enemy vehicles in one (1) Grand Battle. Random Battles only. Historical Reference: In June 1941, near the Lithuanian town of Raseiniai, roughly 20 KV tanks of the Soviet 3rd Mechanized Corps met the assault of the 6th Panzer Division, with approximately 100 vehicles. A single KV-2 tank managed to hold off the German advance for a full day while being pummeled by a variety of antitank weapons, until finally the KV-2 ran out of ammunition and was knocked out.
I did a project on this back in like 8th grade. The amazing part is that the KV2 crew was absolutely battered. When hit by a relentless amount of shells of various calibers, some crewmates were bleeding from the eyes and ears from the shockwaves, deaf, amongst a combination of other things. The vehicle was stuck in one spot due to losing its tracks. By the end of it, it was basically just a rotating turret. The crew was firing blind shots every which way throughout the entire battle. It was incredible to read about.
Yeah. Years ago you could have games like this very often (and you didn't needed to be a "unicom", as a average player), now it almost never happens, games are boring, unbalanced and last less than 5 minutes.
I had a similar game some weeks ago with my AMX 51 on same map. Not 14 kills but 8 kills and ended 7500 approx dmg. Started north side then wippped off all enemy in village then started to concentrate around cap zone. Unfortunately I misjudged a bit in the end and ended by be killed by a tier8 med while concentrating killing a tier 6 HT (M6 I think) that guarded the cap zone. This Ht at then end only had in 1 shot.
The chances of having such a completely unbelievable game like the first one must be about as big as the chances of winning a few million dollars in the lottery.
I got 10 kills in a Ferdi a long long time ago, much like the guy in the first game, my RNG was so good I just needed to vaguely waive my gun in the general direction of the enemy and fire.
First battle, the player did two things right, play in a Soviet TD and then make a call to Yuri to fix the RNG for him with a payment on the way in Russian Rubles, that player wasn't fully aiming and was jerky as hell with the reticle all the way through the game and gets 14 kills
Yeah he was doing that stupid thing when you zoom out before you fire, plus he was jerking his mouse every time he clicked. I used to know an old guy who played like that.
In his defense, he probably had adrenaline oozing out of his ears. Had a game a few days ago in War Thunder, got 15 kills in a Kv-1S, had to take a break after, my hands were shaking so bad
@@panther-nk2hn there is no defence, aiming like he did in WoT he should have been missing most of the shots, something iffy was going on maybe a cheat mod as someone has suggested
There's actually a replay of this TD on Malinovhka with 15 kills. It's from a few years ago and it was vs higher tiers iirc. I think QB covered it in the past but the replay was absolutely nuts. This td is a monster at tier VII due to the crazy DPM it has, decent mobility and trollish armor. The alpha is huge with 390 and the HE has enough pen to hit hard very lightly armored vehicles.
you still need the RNG which is the main reason this whole game became unplayable. The Influx of bots right now (and the pure shitshow of "balance") is crazy
@@feroxk.9266 RNG definitely plays a factor, but it feels like most kill heavy matches are the result of someone being mildly competent and 27-29 ppl being absolutely useless (or actual bots)
@@fakirakos you do know that RNG also influences the matchmaker? and yes, the influx of obvious bot and terrible players beeing drawn into one team is sickening. especially when you play bad tanks like me and need to carry. with rng that wont let you even hit standing tanks. thats a thing that came up in the past years and wasnt present when this game was good.
Well, one thing that's going on is that you have Tier-5s going up against Tier-7s and those people died really fast. Two, a lot of those T5 players were genuine newbies and they were just cannon-fodder. The thing is that the Su-122-44 was the strongest tank on either side, and this guy knew his business; luck is when skill and opportunity meets. As QB says, the Raseiniai Heros' Medal, the one that no one (almost) gets. I consider myself lucky to get a couple Radley-Walter's and Kolobanov's medals.
I saw 11000 players on the server over Memorial Day weekend. This game is dying a slow death. It was a total shitshow with each game lasting no more than five minutes.
@@randy6999 I haven't player for years but still watch some replays with Klaus and Jingles. The game itself is so bad but the videos are entertaining because of it.
I stopped playing because of the blatant "R"ng manipulation. The last straw before I uninstalled was that a guy killed me through 2 hilltops. The shell was traced through one hilltop then another and then into my turret. They really should not have added that killshot trajectory tracer. Does not help their case one bit.
I stopped playing this game years ago myself. It was great fun from launch, but after some time, you met lots of players using tons of money on all sorts of premium shit and most of the time used bots as well. Totally ruined the fun of the game.
@@The_Judge300 Same, especially when enemy tank was parking next to me, but my crew didn't saw him at all. I even blindly fired, since he was there, yet my shell passed trough him as if he was incorporeal... so, that was my last match in WoT.
I had a moment of weakness, and only 2 pints, but I bought the TMNT season pass last night. Enhanced rewards, 57 days premium and loads of blueprints and training books, Silver, for 20£ (discounted). Also I'm happy I will never have a game like the first one. As a wise man once said, "A man's gotta know his limitations."
Suspicious that the whole team was muppets. But then I received an in game message from some group that says they can boost my stats . Is that what we were seeing.
Raseiniai Heroes' Medal - min 14/15 kills in a game. One of the most iconic medals that No one ever gets... My best come from behind win was in that tank. But I only had 8 kills. Teammates were screaming because I had chosen a spot that was out of the way. Though normally traffic came that way. So I went CCW on the map after all my team was dead. I killed 8 an won the game. That SU-122-44 is an awesome tank. I need to play it more.
20:50 ... That map is the same with me... once I get into the city I end up dead pretty fast. The different angles and firing slits, rubble and just getting myself turned around - both literally and figuratively - make playing in that city impossible for me. I rarely get that map when I'm in a brawling tank so my ability to figure out all the dangers is near impossible.
He's calling for help because noone except the Tiger I is taking the northern route, and boy do i know how horrible it is to end up alone up there when opposite team comes with 5-6 tanks. And no, that's nothing really strange about the game. He's having luck, oh yeah, and he's playing very well oh yes, but his own team basically sucks and the enemy team, it plays well enough BUT, because they're having such good luck, they are laughably badly situated tactically when the SU guy arrives. With almost every shot, he waits just long enough to get a barely accurate enough shot off. No, he's not hitting bullseye with every snapshot, he DOES aim with most his shots. While i haven't seen anyone getting similar ridiculous amounts of damage and kills, i very much have seen the same kind of tactical situation happen, but usually the damage and kills are much more spread out. I got one of my Kolobanov's from one of them with DW 2 and 6 kills, and a Radley-Walters with 8 kills with the T-150 where i ended up being in this guy's situation. Basically, if you end up going the "wrong way" from start and just stand around looking pretty until half your team or more is gone is gone, the enemy team gets overconfident and reckless, but still takes out most of your team without much losses, and you end up taking a route to attack them none of them were expecting, so that you can face all of them one by one or at worst in pairs, and you have just enough luck... Then yeah, this is what happens. The T-150 has even worse gunhandling than the Su-122-44, but i managed those 8 kills and was literally last man standing in that game, with less than 100 HP left and my last ally dead shortly after 5th enemy died, so ALMOST another Kolobanov for that game (just like my game with AMX 13F3, except there it was just seconds after i killed 5th enemy at point blank, eastern sniper height on desert river map, when last ally died, that was so horribly annoying). And IIRC, the T-150 game was not that far from running out of time as well, because that's a SLOOOOW tank. Oh, and a game with Somua SM, with 5 kills was roughly an easier version of this. I lucked out and bounced far more than plausible, but i basically won together with 1 ally against 7, because they all came at me one by one. They literally gave me plenty of time to reload magazine after each kill. While my ally was stuck on the opposite side of the map just barely squeaking out a victory after his 3rd opponent left and went after me instead. So yes, these kind of games happens all the time. MOST of the time, the side with lots of early casualties doesn't have that final piece of luck needed, or the enemy team simply doesn't split up and act stupidly like this, but a player who comes in from a "zero/minimal fighting" location on the map and oneshots damaged tank after damaged tank, all the time...
SU TD player should buy a lottery ticket, BS hits, penn & damage, & fortunate MM. They were lucky on so many levels. My same SU was nearly always base tier, & missed or bounced lots, even fully aimed. It's dpm is great, when you can pen. On same map, spawn & base, my TOG, OI & other heavies also went right, game was over before they were even in it. That's the game of a lifetime, they'll never forget it!
@ClausKellerman, you need to be in a platoon to get the "Crucial Contribution" medal. Raseiniai is for the 14 kills, that somehow doesn't show on that particular website.
i once had a similar run way back in the day with my tiger, killed 12 enemies and won the match 🙂 same stuff happend, early on my entire team got killed, just me an a TD who had killed the others, such an adrenaline rush
I'm a Blitz player, but I totally respect a game like that 1st one. And YES, the god of RNG was his copilot. I had a game like that in my Tier 7, T 28. I could do nothing wrong. Right place at the right time, hit every shot, high rolled almost every shot, got 7 kills out of 7, at one point it was me vs 4, and I earned a mastery badge. It was a once in a blue moon game for sure.
Bro did almost twice the damage his whole team did. Although at the end the Tiger was intentionally leaving him the oneshots and only shooting higher HP tanks :)
First game was brilliant with that SU-122-44, and one of the TD's I never got when I played a few years ago grinding for it before I quit the game. The T110E3, not so much fun....
I like your analysis of that match. There was lots of factors that helped that player, but they utilized all of those factors to great effect. yeah the odds are 1:300+ million or something for any lotto that pays out life changing money.
That su122-44 game was amazing fun. But when I take the su122-44 from the garage I get 50% tier 9 games, 40% tier 8 games, and only 5% of the games I meet tier 5 tanks. So after being bullied by some bz 176s and char futur4s I parked it in my garage. Maybe one day wargaming will put me in a game like this.
After 60k games with that tank having the poor accuracy and long aim time, I couldn’t believe the hits with most having rushed non-fully aimed shots . As mush as there is bad RNG , there is lucky RNG and it was easy to tell which one he used up . He better not complain for a while , after those gifts.
I had an incredible game in my Pz IV H (derp gun) years ago. Problem was, my team did well, too. Still, 8 kills in 8 shots (okay, I had to ram the last one)! Of course, since then they nerfed HE, and buffed the HP of lower tiers. I imagine I might possibly have had a game like the first one, if my team was as bad as the enemy team. Anyway, thanks for showing us that great game!
I’ve used the 122 on several tanks and played many games in the 122 44. Ive never had that gun hit like that in any tank even with 6-7 skill russian crews and the best equipment.
Alright, where do I download the mod that puts all my shots center circle before the aim circle reduces(only 88% kidding)? Oh, and Peter Gabriel would be happy Claus remembered his song. Sing away Claus, personally I appreciate the song references.
Claus, the SU game, I would have checked all the accounts of the other 29 players to see who has a SU also, what a great advert for that tank for wg eh, I wonder how many purchased that tank AFTER the game, still loving the content, keep it up sir!
