Tasha was completely right. Malik and Derwin could have been hurt. Melanie made Tasha's house chaotic and put Malik in danger. Melanie had a right to be angry at Derwin and Derwin was wrong to cheat on her, but that didn't give her the right to play games.
Melanie was definitely wrong. But she was never going to tell Derwin what happened. Malik didn't even tell him. Derwin came over there starting drama about Trey Wiggs and got his feelings hurt 😂
@@niabelizaire3596 even if he didn't come over at that moment in time she probably would've still eventually played that card and mentioned it to him at some point later on just to get a reaction outta him.
Tbh I was with Melanie’s side for a few episodes but then she started to get on my damn nerves. She obviously missed Derwin which I get but to want to stage bump ins, care about who he’s with AFTER they broke up, and etc just made it annoying. In this scene specifically, tasha was right. That one lie could’ve damaged the boys careers because it would’ve caused unnecessary drama between them.
@@Pretty30715 because he & the sunbeams told her to stay away from him cause it messes up Derwin’s image. Even after that, she snuck & went out to see him and still got caught by the media lmao.
@@Pretty30715 IMO he got mad because of it being Wiggs she slept with. She knew Derwin didn't like him. Derwin always felt he was trying to get at Melanie. To find out he did hurt him. It was basically like all of his suspicions were right.
@TheRexrapper In Derwin’s eyes, it was like “I knew it! Trey wanted my girl all along” but he didn’t think Melanie was actually gonna do that. If that were me, I wouldn’t have done that because if I knew that my ex and one of my college friends were bitter rivals in the football world, the last thing on my mind would be sleeping with the enemy. Yes, Melanie was heartbroken over the whole Drew Sidora affair, but apart of her reasoning for hopping in bed with Trey was to spite Derwin.

Tasha was wrong; she and kelly knew Derwin was cheating on Mel and covered it up, trying to pin the blame on her. Tasha ruined Kelly’s marriage. So IMO, Tasha needed a reality check Derwin was way outta pocket
Tasha and Kelly wasn't for sure that he was cheating with Drew that's why they invited her on the football trip so that she can figure it out for herself. Jason controlling Kelly and basically set her out to ol boy(can't remember who he was) is why Kelly filed for divorce and him being petty during the divorce hearing is what led to their downfall
I mean I understand being mad about Malik but Derwin started that mess by coming to Tashas house asking about Trey Wiggs. If Melanie wanted Trey she should've been with him but she didn't want him. They were friends and she made a terrible decision sleeping with him. Derwin didn't need to know her business with Trey. He was definitely a narcissist
Derwin was my least favorite character. He was annoying and a hypocrite with his fake Christian morals when it suited him. He was a jerk to Janay and Melanie.

He caused all that drama with Melanie and Jerome, getting into a fight with Jerome. He shouldve just left Melanie alone with Jerome. She could've stayed with her new man.
Okay I understand why people were mad at Mel about telling Derwin she got in bed with Malik,causing unnecessary drama but what pisses me off is the fact that Derwin felt like it was cool to harass her asking her about Trey Wiggs. They weren't together so I don't understand why he was acting so privileged . Derwin and Melanie were obviously still hung up on each other.
He cheated with Drew Sidora bit didn't even want her to leave. He kept her bags hostage until Melanie came back. He said they aren't over even though she wanted to leave. He was a shit started his self. Melanie should've apologized to Malik though
This is where Melanie went downhill for me. I kind of wanted her to character to be more empowering like her enjoying the single life and playing the field a little bit and then maybe after focusing on herself she gets back with Derwin but that didn't happen and pissed me off, still does til this day.
In this scene she went downhill. But she got with Jerome and he was a upgrade from Derwin in my opinion. She had a car and job after they broke up. She graduated from medical school in s3. She should've just became a doctor right after that. She was always doing dumb shit for Derwin and he cheated. Had a baby while she was with Jerome. She didn't have to play step mother knowing she didnt like it. She got worse after that
I think everybody missing the point Derwin was 100% wrong for cheating absolutely but Melanie did him dirty twice slept with his rival Trey and tried to sleep with Malik that’s cold blooded
Melanie didn't owe Derwin shit with Trey😂. Trey was Melanie's friend before she even met Derwin. Her and Derwin broke up. She told Trey she made a mistake sleeping with him cuz she was in a weak state of mind and Trey still wanted to help her by giving her a truck and condo. Derwin can't control Melanie when they are no longer together. But with Malik she was 100 percent wrong. Now none of this matters cuz they had twins 😂
Her lack of self esteem and marrying the man that hurt her and him having a child outside of their relationship yet allowing him back in time and time again...that irked my nerves....
@@4islandbeauty Yeah Mel didn't have to take him back but they weren't together when he got Janay pregnant. But let's not forget that Derwin was the main one trying to get her back. He proposed to her 3 times before she said yes. He got into a fight with Jerome lol. Idk any man that would do that unless he really love you. Derwin was dirty as hell for cheating but he worked hard to get her back. Mel cheated on him as well.
