Nice haul! The allure of the older Sears sewing machines is that they have metal cams & shaft. Newer ones are mostly plastic. Won’t stitch through hot butter.
Mark Rothko was an abstract painter who was known for his large color block paintings. He did one in red, orange, and yellow which sold for just over 86 million dollars. Start looking for those, Taco. You'd only have to sell one a year. 😃

Hi Taco I have been enjoying you videos for years. I know you love what you do because you're constantly picking in the trash. You know they say if you love what you do as work you never work a day in your life. Yes those older sewing machines that were made especially before the 70s because the newer ones have plastic gears. The older ones have metal gears and last forever. Certain years and makes are extremely collectible and valuable. I know this because I'm a seamstress and belong to sewing goups on Facebook. Keep up the good work keep being your cuz we love you just the Way you are. Your salsa is beautiful give her a kiss and hug for me.

Hey Taco! I sent you a package today. They said it would be there Monday. It's the post office so who knows? How long has it been since I sent an actual letter? I ran out of forever stamps. They were .44 cents each. WOW, now they are .66 and going up a penny soon. No wonder everyone pays their bills online. Taco, some people sell the sewing machines just for parts. The older ones are harder to find parts for, especially the pedal as they wear out. Nice trash picking day. Love the plant stand. Would look nice with a hanging solar light.

thinking about your door issue I can't think of any other business were the doors are opened and closed so often . my guess is the hinges are worn allowing the door to sag . I worked in a dealership a long time ago - they may be able to be readjusted . due to the way they are used I would oil the hinges and latches with 30wt. motor oil coupe of weeks

Wd-40 the door. My grandpa uses the stuff as he makes rounds checking on everyone's car. Hes a retired mechanic who hasnt stopped, but its keeping him going at 80+ years young. Also i think everyone has a thought of something impossible to do, like moving the sun 😂. Then after its like wait dont hink thatd work.
the old sewing machines are made of better material and will sew for ever. the new ones break. My sewing machine was given to me by my husband in 1967 and has been used a lot. It still runs like new.
That Mark Rothko had me spring to my phone. Private collection? Even with the water damage its nice. I immediately looked up prints and lithographs of his Saffron 1957. His work has been in movies and TV.
Sewing 🧵 machines are like vehicles 🚗 , they used to be metal not plastic and didn’t have computer chips that prevent them running when they are faulty….
If you want to get your mind in a twist stop by a channel where people propose that the World is really flat. My cousin is one of those people and he has actually traveled to S America and yhe Caribbean by plane. I would love for him to talk to Cristopher Columbus and talk to some outrigger canoe sailors from Polynesia. I am going to turn into a scrapper shortly. I am clearing out my parents house and frequently I think I can scrap that. I have seen Taco Stacks scrap that item. 😋 It has not been below 100 degrees here in TX in 3 months. It was to be 99 on Monday but they have changed it back to 100 degrees. Yesterday it was 108 actual degrees. The worst part of the day is about 2000 until 0500 when the heat continues to build. Hi Taco, If you are a sewer, you would know that the older ones are well worth the money. I have about 2 old and 2 newer ones , I use the older ones before the new ones. The only thing with the newer one they do fancy things. But don’t last as well. Carol

My scrapyard pays 15 cents per pound of li-ion batteries but I find that the hassle is not worth it. U gotta tape up the terminals which takes time and idk...dont want the hassle
About batteries, if a electric car breaks down or in a car crash the fire brigade have to come & disconnect the battery before it can be moved as it can set on fire
