This was so beautiful. Your professionalism in filming was astounding. No jumps, no jerks, just smooth editing of all the shots. It brought tears to my eyes to see the beauty of these gardens. My okasan grew up in Kyoto and never was able to go back after she came to the United States. She must have missed Kyoto so much. I loved the fading of the people from some of the scenes; one moment there and the next gone. It reminds us that these gardens have always been and always will be while we are merely temporary visitors. Ghosts who wander into their beauty and then fade from memory. 👘🌸🎍💮🗻📿❤

interesting how different the gardens of japan are from say, europe and the U.S. in the US we put a lot of emphasis on "showy" flowers and color for garden beds. in these gardens they are really designed as full scenes rather than collections of color. and I see almost no flowering plants
