I have no data except what my I see in my city... But the Blade has to be the #1 seller of the year. Probably because it's beautiful - but also because its a real upgrade from the v8 if you want a stiffer and more stable frame.
Totally agree on Volkl Vostra V9. For a 100si frame, the shape and string pattern 16x19, feels so dense and sweetspot, so small. Almost like a 95si. Very unique. I tried many different strings and tension. For me, have to string really low (42lbs poly Kirschbaum Super Smash 1.23mm mains and Pro's Pro Red Devil 1.14mm crosses). Added tiny amount of lead at 3 and 9 and at the bottom of the throat. Total static weight strung is 330g and strung Swingweight is 314. Plays much better. Longer dwell and increased power BUT still very controlled due the strange head shape and string pattern. Would love to try the TF40 2024.
I've demoed a few dozen racquets over the last year or so, and my favorite by far is the Nordic Dots Model 99. I am ordering a second one as soon as they are back in stock.
Excellent video, thank you. Switched to the Blade 100 v9 recently and have about 8hrs of play with it. Excellent frame that I agree does all things well in. I am pleasantly surprised at the stability for such a modest unstrung weight, the feel/touch is also top notch. Mine came in close to spec with SW 321 (dampener incl and no frame customisation). I did add a couple of grams of weight into the handle, more out of habit than any real need, static weight now 330g. Experimenting with strings, currently full bed of HyperG Soft at 50lbs. Previously Restring Zero/Sync hybrid at 51lbs which was awesome. Switched from Gen3 PS 98 (16x19) - excellent stick too but the 335 SW was getting challenging to navigate as the level of opponents improved.
You missed the Prince Beast 98 O3 305g. I liked it but a bit too powerful for full swings. My favorite now is a Prince Phantom 100P. Just ordered two on top to have them matched. 100X 18x20 are great too, unfortunately a little too heavy for me on fast surfaces.
Quicker through the air then Blade 100. Stable, good at slicing and volleys. Shines from the back of the court. I serve better with other raquets tough like pure drive or ezone probably due to higher stiffness and grip shape. Also feel could be better as its a bit muted.
I was watching a bunch of fitness content right before I saw this video. I didn't realize it was Tennis nerd and thought someone was giving their recommendations for peds. It took me a moment to realise
What strings did you like the best on the TF40? I use black code right now, but want to test some other strings. Just bought a set of Tru Pro Pure Rush, interested to see how that plays. What would you recommend for me to try out ?
Would love to see your takes on the new Pro Kennex Black Aces and the Carves. The Black Ace Pro 97 seems the best looking racket (ever?), the Carves might be a very pleasant surprise. Nordicdots Model 99 would be my first choice for a new racket right now.
Hi Jonas! Great video thanks a lot! Currently playing with CX 400Tour 2024, I can stay with it or Blade 100/Strike 100 are considerable better? Thanks for your answer 😊
So glad Fredrick pointed out most people who bought the RF01 racquets are Federer fan boys who are not good enough to play with the racquet, its so true considering how many are for sail on ebay market place and ebay.
I felt the same way about the RF 01 Pro , then picked it up again and fell in love. My racket of choice is the Blade V9 16 x 19 but am now playing better with the RF 01 PRO ( strung with Technifibre Razor Soft )👌🏻
Hi sir, if you dont mind me asking how would i know from a weekend warrior's perspective regarding the size of the rackets sweet spot? I have a newbie friend who has an RF01 future that i tell him that his racket has a small sweet spot. How can i prove it to him? Thanks in advance and dont forget to play tennis always! 😊
@@vwmusicplaylist1935 My point is there's no objectively "best" racquet, only best for your game. Any attempt to say one racquet is better than another is silly, imo.
@@Tennisnerd all I heard was Roman Prokes said to lower the TF swingweights which I.m.o is a mistake Technifibre is the next Yonex they just don’t miss with their racquets even their lower weighted ones can be customised to be weapons I’m super impressed with TF they will take over..
