Sometimes I hate how the world is going. Then I think, I’m in New York, and every day, I get to watch a man in Winnipeg build the most beautiful truck in his shop. And that’s pretty cool. 😊👍👍
Besides the obvious , the coolest truck on youtube, I want to compliment you on your video skills and editing with music, makes for a enjoyable watching experience , keep em coming !
when this truck is all done and you are driving it if people ask about it you should say "Its believed to be the last 4 door International left that they made as it was a limited run of 100 for the Army only" lol really stretch the story see if they believe it anyway thanks again from Vermont
With out a doubt International should have built this truck 50 years ago. I am very impressed with your attention to detail and skills. thank you for taking us on this ride of a build I am sure there are afew more things to do but WOW.
***** General. Putting 5 stars across the tailgate would look awesome on the General. You've put in so much hard work and graft on the General, the truck deserves to be a 5 star General. ***** General gets my vote. 😁👍
All i have to say is wow the truck really looks good... you’re a man after my own heart, i call it frankintruck you’ve brought it back to life your definitely a man with good hands
Great looking truck !! One off... I'm all about standing out in a crowd, and that's exactly what this truck does. In addition, it's function as well as game. Simply awesome.
I had seen a lot of video of you with this truck. It is nice to see how you build up this truck. It is getting better and better. You are a real metal worker. I want to see the end result. Keep on going
spluge-running bondo along a truck box and a wheel fender seam. LOL I learned a new word today. You made made a lot of snow today. Thanks for the video
As I watch the body work I can't help but think of the painter Bob Ross who painted "happy trees" and only had" happy accidents" and not mistakes lol. Thanks for sending us the video
I'm extremely ocd myself. But I believe the yellow spot is paying omagh to the trucks history. I love the build. So nice to see something built to be used!!
I am a hak skill level no doubt, but every video you have put out i have picked up a tip or method to try in my shop. Thanks as always for sharing your knowledge and skills. By far my favorite channel on the tube.
I have been watching your videos on this project from day one. I really enjoyed each every one. Thanks for sharing them with us. It's an awesome vehicle
This is a great truck and another good video, THANKS! I just went back and watched the video of you collecting parts for this truck. I can't believe you had this in mind with what you had to start with. Looking back makes this even more amazing, great job.
OCD on the funky doors? Mia Culpa, my bad, but it was an eyesore. This truck looks soooo cool now. I'm afraid you'll finish it up, and then what? Retired people get obsessed. Thanks for the ride Brent. I hope we get to see this truck in action after you get it on the road. Adventures with The General ? 👍😎🕵🏾♂️🚙🎵🎸🎹🍺🥃🥂👽🤦♂️
That's one big rugged looking truck You sure done one hell of a great job doing that truck I've watched every step Glad you spent the time a little bit on Bondo and I mean body filler It just gives it that finished look when you put the spray-on nice job Brent
I don't want to see this project end I have loved every minute of it and I find myself checking RU-vid every day to see if you had a new post. What a great lookin' truck you have created Thanks for the GREAT covid-19 shutdown entertainment ! .I started watching your channel ever since DD speed shop went to your garage to get louvers in his trunk lid.
It's looking good with one color just my opinion I think the running boards and the fenders would look good in black give it some contrast with the green
I don't know what you have in mind for your next build but it's going to be tough to top the General! So long as you keep the same music variety, and the same banging on the sheet metal, I'll be watching 👍
Just wanted to say your very talented and an amazing person extreme visionary. We love all your builds . Can’t wait to see what else is coming . Four doors rule......
Lol leave the spot yellow, I agree, funny to drive people nuts. Duraglass is great stuff. I've used it for many years. I think the whole USC line are great products. I also use the USC Thin Ice for all the small pinholes and deep scratches. 3M Piranha Putty is a good spot glaze as well. The last car I redid I used most of the same stuff as you... Duraglass and the Dominion Etch primer. The car came out great and it has held up extremely well. The General is looking fantastic, and I hope you go through with doing all the trims and accents with a satin black. That would be a phenomenal look for this thing. You should use some skateboard grip tape pieces on the running board area under the doors. Itll give some grip when getting in and out, keep the paint from wearing off in those spots from the 'high traffic,' and an offset in color with the black tape to accent it a little bit. If you wanted to be even more different, they sell it in a variety of colors. Just a thought, as I see some rigs that have polished steps/ battery boxes done in a similar fashion. I think it would look cool to do the wheels up as well. Polish the barrel area, paint match the centers with the olive, and throw on some nice satin black lug nuts/ center hubs. Not sure if you've decided what to do with them yet, but that would be a kick ass look for em IMO. Good shit buddy, keep it up! 👍👍😎
Amazing bit of gear you've invented there Brent. The General has turned into an epic piece of art. Thanks for sharing Mate. Billy J...... Queensland Australia..
It's great to see your big project at this stage. It's like getting over the top of a mountain, to have it painted, and I'm sure it is very gratifying to you. It makes the remaining details of the project seem minor - said the guy who doesn't have to tend to them. "Well done" seems inadequate, but anyway, keep up the good work.
Brent, you read my mind as I was gonna make a comment about the visor. I am looking forward to you making one as id like to put one on my 49 panel but cant see paying what folks are asking. I was thinking of starting with the front edge of a hood off something with roughly the right radius.
I've been watching your build for awhile now and I love what you've done with it! Great job!!! Can't wait to see how you do the floor of the bed. I'm sure it will be as awesome as the rest of it!!!!!
I.H looking good taking shape day by day ..id reckon keep the hints of chrome as it compliments the green alot ...visors side stacks front back bumper all should be chrome or close in color...👍👍👍🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
This is the 1st of your builds that I've watched, and I'm gonna miss this one when it's over. How about a matching trailer, same design, same colour, for the old general to pull about. Only joking.
