While I agree with most of this video, I feel you’re also pushing a narrative that isn’t 100% correct regarding music videos in Hip Hop. Those you mentioned are the exceptions and not the rule. Most videos are still about that stunting n flexing lifestyle. That’s always been an appeal in Hip Hop til this day.

Grammys appreciate real music. BRAT is just brat. Its just an overhyped tiktok thing people talk about. There's zero creative musical value. seriously I still don't understand the BRAT hype. Its heavily autotuned club music, something that plays in Roblox or Lego movies and the lyrics are sh1t.
@@The_realSuguruGet0 think about the noms, not winning. The noms are given to GREAT albums you mentioned. BRAT is commercial club songs, not real music. It doesn't even have a proper 3.00 full song. There's no artistry or a takeway sentiment. The lyrics are like 8th grader text msgs.
