I really hope this goes back to his roots of story-telling - It has the opportunity to be both iconic and incredible! The Shakespearian monologues of lock stock and snatch, combined with the unwavering character developments, and dramatic twists, that play into the tropes of storytelling and culture of the British underworld were almost poetic in their craftsmanship. This could undoubtedly be a magnum opus of television.

I thought the Gentlemen was a masterpiece, 10,000x better than his generic other recent work. I do think it would be tough to replicate without the movie’s killer cast. But, yeah I’m cautiously interested.

Even without the title of the video revealing it, I would know this was directed by Guy Ritchie. He puts so much emphasis on the sound design of his projects. The way he syncs sound with the action is unmatched. I truly can't wait to see his venture into television. I know this will be nothing short of amazing.

Kind of hope they do a anthology series like Fargo, the seasonal stories take place in the same world, but are largely separate from one another, with characters from other stories making appearances or events being referenced or effecting other stories. Main theme being about high class yet cunning criminals and their schemes and conflicts.

the trailer looks solid. it's just... how come he didn't put one single person from the movie to the serie? we basic people love this kind of use Guy! just ask Collin Farrel to cross the street on final episode and we'll be "ooooooooooo that's him that's him... MOOOOOOM THAT'S HIM!"

Mr. Giancarlo is the definition of a late bloomer. He's been in the game for a long time but became a beast later in his career. Its a marathon not a sprint. Great actor and this looks like another Guy Ritchie classic.

I hear you. Though I'd say that Hollywood and the general public are "late learners". As you said Mr. Esposito is long term vet who's been working regularly since the early 80's in TAPS (1981), TRADING PLACES (1983), MIAMI VICE (1985) etc. He's been blooming but the biz and mainstream are just now seeing the radiance. Looking forward to his appearance in this.

Nothing is as strong as Amazons AWT77K and nobody can have any influence on that. In crucial times where we can't even know what to believe and which mechanism is being pulled to manipulate us I think it is very welcome that these guys made their move
