Fact: The number of APDS bullets in the game is the same as in real life because the Gepard has an extra magazine that holds 20 bullets on each side. Gepard's cannon cannot withstand the pressure of APDS bullets, so if used too much, the barrel will explode
The Italian tech tree could get a Gepard 1A2 as well, as Brazil has 34 of them in service as of 2024 & Romania has 41 of them in service as of 2024 too.
The joke with ozelot is u can be within 2km and it still struggles to lock on a heli with cas it's normal, a heli oh he'll no u can forget about locking on a heli. And yea why Toyota is still 9.3, if they want to f**k over one side why not the other
So something I learned is that the Dutch actually got the M4A5 Ram tank, about 73 of them by 1947 in various conditions. So whenever we do get the Benelux ground sub tree for France, we could get a Dutch M4A5 Ram in the tech tree at BR 3.7 and at Rank II as well.

Sometimes if I just want to relax, I first spawn with the Gepard to defend the air. The amount of enemy players freaking out in the chat because they didn’t expect an AA already is stunning lol
i would like to do the same with my strela and tunguska but sadly the cas around 10.7 is mainly russian, just sometimes a hunter or a10 but that's rare : (
I love my Gepard. Way more enjoyable than the others at the same or higher br because it has guns. The downside tho is you can not fight jets and helis in high tier since they kill you out of your range.

It's a bit of a weird request, but could you try out the VFM5 and the Buccaneer S.2? specifically, the Buccaneer S2 with RP-3 rockets loadout that oneshot pretty much anything if you park them on the roof of the tank you're shooting at, and a ballistic calculator to help you do that (attempt 6)
@@SpriGgEx its helli dependant. It cant lock most hellis with ircm unless at specific degrees to them. Most NATO hellis at low br dosnt get ircm tho. A few does at 9.710.0/10.3 and most have them at 11.3/11.7 endgame.
@@AdaaDK No I actually meant starter Helis. For Example when i play the SANTAL at 9.3 i see alot 9.0 or lower Helis but i cant IR lock on to them even with Help of Radar Lock if they dont get into like 2.0 or 2.5km range. While i got rgulary shot down now from like 3km or more by Ozelots lately)
The small details WT manages to put into their models surprises me sometimes. The Stinger have yellow live ordnance markings on them (as to stale with no warhead or dummy). Blue and bronze are the only other 2 markings I can remember, and can't remember which is which. Give me a break, it's been 30 years...
I had a really cool idea for a new series u could do titled "The derp vehicles of war thunder!". Every nation pretty much has a derp vehicle and they're so fun to play. I think it'll be a pretty popular series!
FWIW, the Gepard CAN UFP the TURMS with a long burst of the AP belt. I really don't know how or why, and the first couple of times I thought I'd just gotten lucky, but then it just kept happening.

One of my favorite vehicles in the game, I’ve killed nukes, F-14s, Abrams, annoyed an IS-7 so much he J-ed out…love it so much I bought the talismans for it and grinded the entire German rank VI and VII with it 😂

Wait so the ozelots radar dose not emit radar 😱 I thought it did I had always kept the radar off when I caught someone radar and just tracked it trough the thermal optic
Hi Justin, How do you feel about using the CV9035 as a backup for the CV90105 at 10.0? I don't think it uptiers well, especially when compared to the 9040s
i wish you could make radar presets so you dont have to manually change things each time you spawn in, i would have one for all my radars but its such a hassle i dont bother
Yea that smoke trail is crap both with the speed. Mostly can't engage half of the cas since they will notice it instantly like who wouldn't if they see such a trail
@@letankiste2340 At 10.3 cas just mostly goes orbital so you hardly can even use FlakRak when as soon as u fire in seconds they move a bit and thanks to the atgm update the missile will go haywire and miss entirely. Man I really love that thanks to gaijins choice of missiles they gone for "lets make them more realistic" thus making now all atgms useless on even medium distances
Getting rid of or trying to get rid of enemy scout drones is not stupid the enemy could just scout and spot your entire team so shooting them down should actually be kinda important

I just want to see more proper Gepard used as AA instead first spawn TDs and while are gone leaving the sky uncontrolled for enemy CAS/CAD... I have a solution, Gaijin approved: increase the BR. Up to 11.7!!! All of them, and the ZA-35 up to the brand new BR of 13.0. (Jk but seriously guys...please...it's a SPAAG, use mainly at the intended role, i know it can delete ground stuff but you can't do two things at the same time...)
The Dutch also have their own family of the Gepard series: the PRTL and PRTL GWI cheetah. Both carry better radars and the GWI has a 4800m range programmed round with proxy fuse like effect. There is also the PRTL GWI variant that has the same 2x2 stinger loadout as the german 1A2 gepard. 😊
Still hasn't been fixed. It's volumetric with 240 mm LOS and has been acknowledged/bug reported. Realistically IRL APFSDS would only jam the turret and produce some spall as the gap has too many sharp angles to shatter APFSDS.
I noticed around the 10 minute mark you were making fun of the Bradley and for some reason in this game it's just really weird to use but as we are seeing in Ukraine it's been the most capable tank and I think that surprised us all
I think all the AA´s needs a nerf vs tanks , anything AA shouldnt easy be able to deal with actual armor its kinda bonkers, and i love fast tanks with autocannons too, but i diff think they need to lower the pen or remove the apds or both, from ANY gun AA at or above br 7.7.
