The German military is looking for new recruits. It has set up intro camps to provide insights into the soldiers' daily routine, while aiming to allay fears and generate interest in a career with the armed forces.
Originally, 19-year-old Leia had wanted to study music, but her grades weren’t good enough. Her search for an alternative led her to the German armed forces, which run intro courses aiming to attract young people to a career in the military. Leia took part in one such course with the 21st armored brigade in North-Rhine Westphalia. Among other things, she realized that joining up might involve dangerous foreign missions. A Report by Udo Bauer.

Da Ve - I understand what I am seeing on the quality of the possible recruits....it is sad state for my country that we have come down to this level of patheticness. The true Prussian warriors of old are long dead and are not coming back.....Germany as a power is past and will never rise again until we remove the pathetic leadership in power and get back to our Prussian roots and restart again....something the World would fear and most likely never allow again in our life times.

These are civilians on a Army experience of camp. They are not representative of the German Army. I’ve had the privilege of training alongside them on several occasions and they are an extremely capable fighting force.

Also, literally anyone can become an officer, whether through climbing the ranks or with a degree. The point is that you train people for a reason... so they’re capable for the goddamn job when they’re done! Doesn’t matter if you’re a naive, young, 19 yo woman or Chuck Norris; training is training and I’d respect and trust anyone if they can complete it.

I was stationed with the US Army in Grafenwoehr Germany for 2 years and I met german soldiers that became my good allied friends! German people are very respectful and kind and friendly. Good unforgettable experience... I love Germany 🇩🇪💗 God Bless the Bundeswehr...

in germany it is. I study 'rocket science' and all I needed was a NC of 2,2 if you want to study music you need abi and an NC of better than 2,2 t least where I am.

I wonder how the old Wehrmacht officers would have felt about all this. Obviously if you just look at the military victories of the Wehrmacht, they were one of if not the most efficient and effective fighting force in history and I'm sure they weren't so relaxed

They are infantry which in ww2 was field grey for winter green in summer. Panzer (tank) crewmen wore oversized berets with tight fitting jackets.

I spent seven years in Germany with the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps, even their conscripts were well trained and the Bundesweir is still a very good force that is well trained

Hitler II could come into power, and then he'd just use a couple of week to drill his army into shape, and then you'll have WWIII on your hands. ;) Somehow I doubt that Germany will have much to do with the next one, though, unless it starts as a civil war - but then Germany wouldn't be alone. A lot of European nations have a lot of inhabitants who feel angry and betrayed by the globalists ruling their countries these days, and rightfully so.

Germany isn't having such a big army in the moment. But there is a law, that every company have to produce weapons, in the case of a war. Germany have one of the biggest weapon industry's in the world, so Germany is able to build a mega-army in just a few months.

How does one exit the troop transport in an emergency situation I seriously would like to know because the seat look kind a packed together. Is there like hatches at the top of this cabin or do the chairs just swing aside creating a pathway ??

All soldiers wear extremely advanced armor now a days. This armor can withstand anything now. Not even armor piercing rounds can get through it. The armor makes the soldiers a walking tank. The suits can even go invisible.

If that was the British corporal doing the inspection that bunk bed would parachute outside the window. Hold a pull up for 30sec. What is that bullshit? My grandfather does about 8 pullups and he is the age of 70. Also 30kg is heavy? What about sand or cement bags which are 50kg, not even talking about casualty who would be around 70 - 110kg.

Interesting, but do they get to see what an average soldier experiences in day to day basis, not just physically but mentally (discipline) and do they have any interaction with soldiers just out of basic. I understand it’s just familiarization. But you may have a very unhappy trooper after a week of basic if they are just shown the easy fun going side of the service

The current German army is quite weak. Despite Nazi is evil, the German army during WW2 had the strongest fighting power in Europe. That is called ‘the real army’. What now? I can say Germany will quickly fall if the war breaks out tomorrow. Even Russia can destroy current Germany by itself, let alone the past Soviet Union. I think Bismark has many words to say about present German army.
