I love all these old english documentaries with flickering lines on the screen and hissing sounds.

I remember watching this programme in the seventies with Geoff Croom-Hollingsworth, shown on the BBC and the creepy recordings, which scared me witless!

great film ...this can't be made today like this because were conditioned to having fast editing and fancy graphics this is good film making

I've started trying to collect Peter Underwood's books. Very interesting stuff and well written. I would recommend also, the BBC radio documentary about Borley.

I camped on the grounds at Borley in the 70s. And that was an interesting evening I can tell you! I took a crazy picture of a pair of legs. Just the legs!

Its Ghost adventures with Zac and two other cameramen... I think you can find the video under the name Ghost adventures first episode or something as that... Its a long doc, and afterwards they've done a lot of small docs where they visit a lot of ghost places and so. I've seen it all and I think they are amazing! Its really awesome some of the things they find out and capture on their film!

The man on the left has since been seen haunting Borley church .

It burnt down in 1939,then was demolished in 1944.

There's a contradiction here between what the guy in the funky shirt says, and the comments from ppl claiming ghost experiences below say. Funky shirt man says ghosts are 'in their own period' and that's why the nun floats 'a foot above the ground' as it was in her day ( as the ground has sunk since then); and this fits in this the re-enactment of ghosts battles like Edge Hill. The commentators all talk of intelligent ghosts that interact with the living. Perhaps the former are like recordings ?

Do people still visit Borley Church and do they still experience phenomena? The Borley Rectory story was well known for years, now it seems to have faded into obscurity.

If I could afford it I would buy up the land and rebuild Borley rectory exactly as it was

The thing is, Mr Croom-Hollingsworth was there to investigate Borley Rectory and the hauntings. He took with him a fellow investigator to help out. They BOTH witnessed a ghost for 11 minutes and yet NEITHER ONE OF THEM took a single photograph??? I find that aspect of the story the most ridiculous. Who would do an investigation without a camera? Why did this interviewer not ask this most obvious of questions? This is what annoys me about ghost hunting - incredible stories - ZERO EVIDENCE!

i would think that if you were to truly see a ghost, i doubt very much you`d still have the wits about you to look at your watch and record the time so very exactly. 9-11 minutes,i mean really......Not doubting it per se, just saying.....
