I'm sure she loved Will slapping another man "to defend her honour" but when it came down to upkeeping her own honour by not having an "entanglement" with her son's friend, she didn't care.
The gentleman to the left with the black hat looked like he understood the pain behind that whole story of not being with the one you love. His face showed compassion and genuine understanding. I enjoyed watching.
That is one of the best, if not the best, sketch comedy shows of all time. They were better than every iteration of SNL. And they stand side to side with shows such as Flight of the Concords, Whitest Kids U Know, Chapelles Show, and probably a few gems I forgot. Edit: Key and Peele. Absolutely genius. Second city improv. Wayne Brady's entire career. Whose Line Is It? Judd Apatow movies with a script and extra film. Everything. Goated comedy. If I forgot something, then please do remind me.
Really? I think Chris went harder and neither went hard enough. Marlon was kissing their butts so much he could of made a clown ballon version of Lady and the Tramp from each of their budy-holes.
Ehhh.. Chris using the last 10 minutes of his segment was perfect. He said what he had to say & didn’t drag it out. This was a situation marlon wasn’t even apart of & it was a bit dragged out
This was too hilarious!!! You guys are amazing and I have watched all your videos and have nothing but love and total respect to very intelligent five young men and the best of friends!!! NEVER LOSE THAT!! Love your channel guys!!! You guys are amazing!!! You guys need a television show!! Wish you guys success and happiness and wish your channel to explode in success!!! From Toronto, Canada!!!
🦋 that was hilarious! And that’s what all the comedian said they were gonna do for one year we’re gonna go after them and they did and they deserved every minute of it
How many African Americans have won an Oscar in all of history? 1964 - Sidney Poitier - 'Lilies of the Field' 2002 - Denzel Washington - 'Training Day' 2005 - Jamie Foxx - 'Ray' 2007 - Forest Whitaker - 'The Last King of Scotland' 2022 - Will Smith - 'King Richard'
It was very clear that Jada was in love with Tupac when he died. There’s a couple of interviews she did that definitely shows it. Pretty sure they went to the same high school.
1939 Hattie McDaniel for Gone With the Wind Best Supporting Actress 1963 Sidney Poitier for Lilies of the Field Best Actor 1982 Louis Gossett, Jr. for An Officer and a Gentlemen Best Supporting Actor 1989 Denzel Washington for Glory Best Supporting Actor 1990 Whoopi Goldberg for Ghost Best Supporting Actress 1996 Cuba Gooding, Jr. for Jerry Maguire Best Supporting Actor 2001 Denzel Washington for Training Day Best Actor 2001 Halle Berry for Monster’s Ball Best Actress 2004 Jamie Foxx for Ray Best Actor 2004 Morgan Freeman for Million Dollar Baby Best Supporting Actor 2006 Forest Whitaker for The Last King of Scotland Best Actor 2006 Jennifer Hudson for Dreamgirls Best Supporting Actress 2009 Mo’Nique for Precious Best Supporting Actress 2011 Octavia Spencer for The Help Best Supporting Actress 2013 Lupita Nyong’o for 12 Years a Slave Best Supporting Actress 2016 Mahershala Ali for Moonlight Best Supporting Actor 2016 Viola Davis for Fences Best Supporting Actress 2018 Mahershala Ali for Green Book Best Supporting Actor 2018 Regina King for If Beale Street Could Talk Best Supporting Actress 2020 Daniel Kaluuya for Judas and the Black Messiah Best Supporting Actor 2021 Will Smith for King Richard Best Actor 2021 Ariana DeBose for West Side Story
Each time they get a lot for one, they mention the other Academy or Award. Honestly though, the Academy and Oscar's just is a big circle jerk. And at times they give then away to be in the incrowd... We all have different tastes, but know good acting. So we watch the movie. The awards shouldn't mean much and mean even less now.
@@bakerfresh I vaguely remember something about why the academy awards were created. And I think it had something to do with tying down actors into multi year contracts with a specific studio, in order to prevent talent bidding wars. In other words: they stifled competition with meaningless statues.
There’s been 5 black Best Actor winners. Denzel didn’t win twice. His win for training day was Best Actor. His win for Glory was Best Supporting Actor. They are different awards since one is for the leading role. Jamie Fox has two wins identical to Denzel. One Best Actor for Ray. And a Best Supporting Actor for Collateral [which ironically has Jada in it].
Don't forget that Marlon Wayans also played one of the best supporting drama roles of all time in "Requiem For a Dream". That is one of the most convincing dramatic characters of all time. He should get one of those pointless gold plated statues from old hollywood elite.
@@screwylooygaming For most of my early childhood, I did not have cable access. When I went to my grandma's house I was watching reruns or live airings of ILC, Martin, and even some Bill Maher(politically incorrect?) lol. Some of my fam was NYC adjacent and gave me music from BigL, WuTang, MosDef and many others. Talib Kweli. Biggie. So chill. So much awesome music. Fun times. She had a nice cable setup in the 90s. And we would watch jeopardy and whose line is it anyways in the evening on the basic cable.
@@screwylooygaming I think the first time I saw chris rock on hbo was at my grandmas house lol. She was a movie buff I guess, so she had showtime and hbo. Or maybe she just had that extra legal cable setup. No idea.
Sidney Poitier for Lillies in the Field, Denzel Washington for Glory Jamie Fox for Ray, Forrest Whitaker For The Last King of Scotland, and Will Smith For King Richar have won Oscars for Best Actor. Denzel also won an Oscar for his supporting role in Glory.
It might be cheaper to keep her but it’s worth the money for peace of mind!! That woman is broken and then she broke him! And he made the OSCARS look like the damn source awards! That’s why we can’t have nice award shows! Marlon, you dodged a nuke.
4, everyone forgets about James Basket. Who was the first black man to ever win any major Hollywood award. And it was done in recognition of him basically being with cinema from the silent film days into the end of the 1940s. All its life basically.
💥another great reaction. These young are on 🔥FIRE🔥 recently (even more than usual) 🚩will you please do a reaction to Tom's last 2 videos soon..GHOST & END OF THE WORLD! ❤&✌from Kentucky
I loved watching Marllon and Damon Wayne's in a T V show called In Living Color... I believe that's the show they got there start in acting.. It was funny as hell .. You guys should do a reaction to that
May I recommend some songs I grew up listening to? Somewhere Over The Rainbow- Iz Kamakawiwo'ole, Love and Honesty- hawaiian style band, Cool Down- Kolohe Kai, Greatest Show Unearthed- Creature Feature, This Love, This Hate- Hollywood Undead, Everybody- Backstreet Boys. Thanks😊 Also, I can't stop watching your videos lol I've been trying to go to bed for 4 hours now😅
Denzel has two Oscars 1 for Best Actor( Training Day), 1 for Supporting Actor( Glory). 4 Black men with Oscars for Best Actor, Sidney Poiter( Lillies of the Field), Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx( Ray) n Forrest Whitaker( Last King of Scotland).
When Denzel Washington was up for his second Oscar, he was excited about the possibility of being the first black man to win two Oscars. He was excited because that would put him one up on Sidney Poitier. The only problem was, Poitier got a lifetime achievement Oscar. His acceptance speech was wonderfully respectful to Poitier.
8:43 FACTS! I literally grew up thinking that was how they were. I wish she had gotten the Lisa role because I wonder if they’d still have been together or not if she did✅
I'm gonna get you sucka would be a great film for you guys to review. Robert Townsend for Sure is someone you guys should react to. A guy that was as important as any of that eras film makers.
Same with Mad t.v., Mad T.V and living color was and is so much better. Why? Because it tried to be funny first no matter who it made fun of. SNL are very transparent.
Y’all don’t know who Sidney Poitier is got damn I’m old! The movie with the bullet going in a circle was “Wanted” and that was Morgan Freeman not Samuel. Marlin was funny as hell though!
I was like "are they talking about Wanted "? Glad I wasn't the only one. It would be insane for them to read the Comic and review the film, the level of discourse alone would be hysterical.
Denzel Washington, Sidney Poitier, Jaime Foxx, will smith and Forrest Whitaker have won best actor Oscar’s. Denzel Washington, Louis Gossett Jr, Cuba Gooding Jr, Morgan Freeman, Daniel kaluuya and Mahershala Ali have won best supporting actor Oscar’s. Mahershala Ali won twice in three years.
Oooooh, I loved In Living Color! Jim Carrey as "Fire Marshal Bill" and Jamie Fox as "Wanda" and Daman Wayans & Alan Crier as the (queer) "Men on Sports" and the "fly girls" dancers with JLO and....there were so many, that I forget...I used to like that better than SNL at that time. I was 18 when SNL first started back in '74, the year I graduated high school. If you want to watch some good stuff, see if you can find some SNL from the late 70's. Then, have you guys watched any In Living Color? If not, you definitely should. Sooo funny! Thanks for this one you guys. I enjoy watching you all. And, as a grandma, I can say, you are all nice young gentlemen and were raised right! Make sure you tell your parents and grandparents I said so, because we need to stick together ( meaning, those of us parents that made sure our kids went to church and learned good values and morals, and treated others the way we wanted to be treated),in this day and age. I raised 3 sons that are in their 30's now! They keep me young. 👍👆🙏God bless you all!
Hi guys, 22 black actors have won academy awards ( Oscars ) Best actors… Sidney Poitier 1963, Denzel 2001 and same year actress Halle Berry, Jamie Foxx 2004 ( for Ray, he was outstanding ) 2006 Forest Whitaker, 2021 Will Smith. The rest of the 22 won best supporting actor Oscars which Denzel also won one, hence 2 Oscars. For me, Morgan Freeman should have easily won best actor by now. He’s had best supporting for “ Million Dollar Baby “ Also, Denzel should’ve won best actor for “ Man On Fire “ IMO
All the comedians said they were going to roast him over the Oscar's. It was tradition that the host comedian roasts the celebrities and Will has been to enough of them that he KNEW that was what happened. And the joke wasn't even bad. He was complimenting her really that she'd make a great GI Jane. After all, Demi Mooore did but, she rolled her eyes to Will and the rest is history. The pair deserve all they get. Imo
