Yesss sir. Got 8 teeth missing and still need my wisdom teeth pulled and a could other teeth replaced. They don’t even look bad but certain medications just eat the calcium away in your bones faster so I need a whole mouth full of implants so I feel you. That would be a blessing to have the chance/option to get our teeth fixed . Soon I won’t be able to eat meat and I’m only 30 turning 31 ..
As someone who spent a fair amount of money when I finally had an "adult" job to get my teeth fixed...would not have been offended AT ALL if someone gave me the gift of dental work. Was such a source of insecurity my whole teenage/college years but could never afford to get it fixed

@IntrigueAvenue She was supposed to pay 50k in full for a full set of implanted teeth. The dentist ripped out all her teeth, then disappeared with her 10k down-payment & didn't refund her or even care, he put bine graft & lied that it didn't take because some BS excuse. All this after she suffered horribly getting all her teeth ripped out & drilled into her skull. They gave her plastic fake teeth when it didnt work, that tore up her mouth & reformed it through not fitting properly & gums from cutting into her while she chewed or had them in. They weren't even really dentures, they were like display dentures almost. The "doctor" lied to her saying the bone graft didn't work when really he was just a liar & a horrible person, he just disappeared after that & we had to pay another dentist 25k total 50k in payments which arent done yet but she has got the posts for it & it took just fine no bone graft. We just want to finally get it done & hoepfully the retirement money we used to get the procedure & get this nightmare over with.

@rangleski3695 Yes & no on the lawsuit thing, there arent many dental malpractice lawyers here in texas & they cap it at like 500k for all malpractice suits, so by the end of it you end up with nothing or having to pay more, the medical community has been a real bad experience for me & my family. Man, I had a doctor ruin my back at 19 as well. I've had three since the first, & that dude straight up lied to me about the procedure he was doing & the results I would have.
I AGREE about waitress small talk. I am a waitress part time at a small family restaurant & a severe introvert, my coworker like to chat a bit with her tables, I try to avoid conversation other than what I need to lol. (I am very polite and proffessional regardless but just doing my job of taking orders and serving food)

Dude that permanent retainer thing happened to me. After getting it (and braces) when I was like 12 or 13 and they never took it out when they took the other braces off. Years go by I join the Marine Corps and no dental people said anything until my final dentist appointment and the Dentist says "when did you get this and why do you still have it?" I tell him and he said oh they should have taken this out years ago. I was happy as hell, he took it off and my teeth have been fine for a decade now.
