So here's a funny story. Back in 2005, when I was a kid, I used to watch Robot Chicken on Adult Swim, even though I wasn't old enough to watch it yet. But what really captivated me on that show was the use of stop motion animation with all those action figures they used. (That, and I always looked forward to the "Stoopid Monkey" logo that they'd show after the credits, coz those were always funny.) But one of the commercials I remember from that time was this holiday commercial for GameTap, which I thought was pretty funny. So a few times in recent years, that commercial's popped up in my head, and I tried searching for it before, but no luck. But then back in January, I tried searching it up again, and I ended up finding it uploaded on some RU-vid channel, and I remember I was really happy to find it again. So much so that I posted a comment on that video saying "OMG I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS COMMERCIAL, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!" and literally a few seconds after posting that comment, the uploader took down the video, and man I was PISSED!!! For the past 6 or 7 months, I've been searching for this commercial again to see if by some miracle someone else would've archived it, but no luck. I was just about to give up until I came across a video compilation of Adult Swim commercials from December of 2005, courtesy of CBZ VHS, and I was hoping that I'd find that commercial in that compilation, and by some miracle, there it was. As soon as I found it I went ahead and opened my screen recording app and recorded a video of that commercial so I could have it to myself, and I eventually decided I was gonna upload it to my channel for anyone else who might be looking for it as well. All I gotta say is, I wanna thank CBZ VHS SO MUCH for uploading that compilation so I can find this commercial again. And this time I wanna make sure this commercial stays online as long as possible.
I know it may seem weird I'm posting a Christmas commercial in the middle of July, but ah well lol.
