This is the first time that I have watched 정성일 act. His character Ha Do Yeong seems to be a man typically set in his ways. He likes the fact that he can predict outcomes, his position in life means he will be in charge; in business and marriage all predictable. Meeting someone with an air of mystery intrigues him, and draws him in to want to know more. Her initial lack of acknowledgment of him stirred up his predatory nature. The dilemma he now faces is the antagonism between his wife and this mysterious woman (Moon Dong-Eun). This dilemma gives his superficial wife an edge he was unaware of previously, will this darkness intrigue or repel him? He is a man that would protect his wife, however, he has become aware of how close his wife and her male friend are. Suspicion is cancerous in any relationship. What will he do when his suspicion is confirmed? Equally, he's been lied to and cheated on, and the child he raised as his own is not his? The tension in this drama is on another level and I really enjoyed watching and thinking about the possible outcome of this drama. Jung Sung II's performance is great, and I'd like to see him in more substantial roles. His facial expressions are amazing, something I don't see a lot of in actors, he totally made this character shine.

Dong Eun's wanted to be an architect before dropping out of school. She is a teacher now, but ahe is still the architect of her revenge plan. An architect creates designs the blueprint. An architect needs the support of a contractor or construction company to build that design. Doyoung happens to run a construction empire. Don't know about you all, but I see the connection here.

I am so into both of them....the way he glances at her, Lord have mercy, makes you feel like its 50 shades but in a modest yet sexy way ...

There's just something electric when he looks at her, the passion and intensity from his gaze alone is enough for me to actually ship them i- 😭

I think we're building towards a revelation and I'm here for it! Some of the best characterization I've seen in a drama to date. It's like the writers give us just enough about him to keep us hooked while distracting us with the main plot...soo good.

I don't think it will end up the way most of us expected it to be. Seems like he cares about his wife and his family as much. And he's a proud person. I don't think he will easily be on Dong Eun's side. It will just be a fling, but when it's time for him to choose, it will be his wife. And Dong Eun, oh how I wish she will win the life stake gambling. She deserves justice, and her bullies deserve their lesson as well. It will give hope to people who were or are bullied, that somehow bad people will get punishment. Please don't let them get away easily.

Look how he doesn't want his wife's friend badmouthing about her, and how he treated his driver with the wine, he was angry but adjusted his emotion quickly " Take this wine and you will know (you are inferior) , the driver just forgot to hold umbrella for him. It's rather interesting what he will do to protect himself, as he has a strong sense of class consciousness...

Kdramas typically have characters staring-whether it be directly at another character or at a distance. That’s why micro expressions and facial acting is important for actors/actresses because it lets us see them bring the character to life. Jung Sung Il’s acting, I daresay, hits the sweet spot when it comes to this. He’s just a supporting character in The Glory-the story doesn’t mainly revolve around him, but he has captured the hearts of many. I hope other directors and producers have taken note of his and Song Hye Kyo’s chemistry. More kdramas or movies should be made with them as the partners this time. ❤

Man I watched part 2 and I was so disappointed how the writers were more biased towards the young doctor (he looks like her little brother or even her son lol) and they stopped giving attention to these 2!

Mr. Ha seems to take a look at the world he did not know through Miss Moon. He seemed to have believed money could settle any troubles but he looks learning what the real human sympathy, love, sufferings are from Miss Moon. He looks good on his own role in The Glory.

He really wanted to know more about her, whereas she was leaving him with hints and all. But he just wanted to know her like he waited for this too long, their chemistry is on the top.

Are we not going to talk about how Do Yeong appreciate smartness? Not only did his wife cheat on him, I am certain she also lied about her intelligence. Remember when he was upset because Hye Jeong accidentally gossiped about Yeon Jin's poor grades at school? Not to mention her job as weather forecaster, I bet he thought she came up with the scripts herself. Between this and other lies his wife has made up (having another man's daughter prolly being biggest blow), I don't think he will side with his wife. Doesn't mean he will be with Dong Eun, tho, I think he has his own agenda. Nobody mentioned about Cialis which Dong Eun found? Whose is that, I wonder? Is that Do Yeong's? If it is, the more interesting, coz he might have known all along that Ye Sol's may possibly be someone else's. Then why the silence? Hm.
