I'm watching at 1440p on a 34inch ultra wide monitor and the video quality is fine. I understand that as the creator you are going to judge everything, but as a viewer, this is what I care about, in order: Audio quality, Information (meaning how informative your messaging is), Showcasing (meaning showing what you are talking about), and finally video quality. This DJI is doing great work IMO.

I've been around the block a few times and I've owned a lot of cars. My current LX570 is my favorite vehicle I've ever owned, by far. 8 hour road trips feel like 2! I see a worn dirt road leading to a scenic spot? I take it without fear. It'll take 33's with ZERO mods. It's comfortable, reliable and stable on the road. On mountain roads I easily stay with packs of smaller, sportier cars. It's simply a fantastic vehicle.

I’m a proud new owner of a 2015 LX570. Spent its whole life in Texas. Super clean! No rust. 100k miles. Roof rack and new tire/wheel combo. Went with 275/70/17s. Your videos were super helpful when looking and finally finding mine. Can’t wait to get it out in the wild!

Love the AHC. One major advantage over my other aftermarket coilover vehicles is you don't have to rebuild the coilovers. Aka remove the coilover, ship to manufacturer or rebuilder, can't drive car, receive the rebuilt coilovers, install, align, then drive... So you can be SOL for 2 to 8 weeks unless you have a garage and/or other vehicles. Just maintain the AHC fluid every 60k and rust proof the hydraulic lines. It'll last forever.

Gas tank is so small and the interior is so small - it's really a mid size to small SUV with horrible gas mileage and no range.

I've had a 100 LC, 200 LC, 200 LX, Gen 1 Sequoia and Gen 2 Sequoia and I'm always torn on which one I like the most. I definitely agree with you on the hatch hierarchy and I really wish Toyota kept the split hatch. I do think that the 200 series is a little more limited on tire size without major mods than the Sequoia and the Sequoia has a lot more space, which was important for me since I have 3 kids. The Sequoia also gets a little better fuel economy. Fun fact: the 200 series is almost identical in size to the Kia Telluride.

You can tuck those seatbelt buckles in! Those little plastic retainers for the strap have a pocket meant for holding the buckle - even in the 3 row!

Ha ha...my 09 gx 470 with 175k miles is bullet proof in my 7 years of ownership. Lifted with Radfos and drives better than 80 percent of the cars around. Steering is true , and brakes, no leaks, nor rusts. Just bought an 2015 and having a hard time deciding if i am getting rid of it or keep it around as a second car.@w2xyz

I put a 7" Carpuride in my '05 Sequoia and have been real pleased with it. Put it on a Bulletpoint plate/arm bolted to a mount on the ashtray from FirstGenTundra. Nice ride but I think the First Gen Sequoia still has better flexibility for storage inside ;)

I found out a cool tidbit from a page on here awhile ago. The LX570, and the Toyota Landcruiser engine blocks underwent an MRI to check for bubbles in the block to ensure only the best blocks went in both of these models.

Great Video! Love the LX570! Not really a fan of that front grille though, maybe paint the factory a dark glossy gunmetal (keeping the Lexus logo the normal chrome or gloss gunmetal) Thought about doing something similar on my GX as I've seen others do the same and it looks a lot better then the bright chrome, picture the Black Line GX from '22 & '23. OR maybe a dark bronze/gunmetal to go with your wrap (like the Black Line, which is kind of a dark bronze/tungsten finish.

I had the Toyo AT3's on my LX 570 but found them a little loud on it. Switched to Yokohama Geolander G015's (not as aggressive of a look though). Quieter and still 3 peak snow rated. Nothing wrong with Toyo AT3's, I have them on my Ram 3500 and my wife's 4runner, just wanted something a little quieter on the LX. BTW, 285 70 R17's on mine. Clearanced plastics. Still rubbed slightly even with methods and positive offset to tuck them in. Sensor lift and no rub. Still plan to do the OEM Toyota spacer for the front coil, just haven't gotten around to it.

IMO, a Jeep SUV is all around a great overland vehicle. I have a 97 jeep grand Cherokee with a factory V8 and straight axles with 3;73 gears. 33 mudd tires and 6” lift. Been watching your channel a while and would like your input on my choice on a video maybe? Love the content and your holsters! M&P holds up better than Glock BTW 🤣

After 5 years of use of my Dobinsons rear with 2 swing outs they severely limit how much you want to open that thing with family involved. Especially holding a child, groceries or managing a dog. I find myself trying to go through the rear seats to the back just of for the hassle. If you have a trailer hitch hauler you have to unload that also to get them opened. Just thoughts with miles and babies riding along. Happy trail. Mine is a loaded-out 07 GX470 for reference.

Yeah swingouts definitely kill some daily practical ease of use, so it was a big debate. Having said that, I have a few other vehicles that I use as "dailies", and this could be reserved for only certain outings, making loading groceries not as big of an issue. Also the Dissent swingouts are definitely the easiest to open/close (fewer mechanisms involved).

Wow, Dissent definitely makes some seriously nice bumpers. I would need to see one in person to see how the locking handle works, from the pictures it is hard to tell how the mechanism locks the considerable weight from a full spare in place but is easy to open at the same time. My guess is 5k combined with bumper and swingouts. I have been looking at different setups for my rear but with the way prices are going probably just going to have it removed and refinished. New to your channel but great content. I saw something about your video or audio being off but both look great to me and I have a very good monitor. Safe travels from Texas. @@LastLineOfDefense

I’m in the market for one now, but once cry once. Looking forward to seeing what other mods you add. Ih8mud has some threads on updating the crawl control to the 13-15 model, and a couple people have added the headed steering wheel as well.

Heated steering wheel would be nice. This has crawl control (which I'd never use and is pointless), as well as ATRAC - but if you're talking about MTS - MTS is pretty nice, but I rarely even use it in the Tacoma.

Is that a garage alpha front grille? I have a 2015 lx just added a dissent rear bumper with swing out tire carrier. Icon 17” alloys with Ko2s. Loving it. I’m thinking of getting the garage alpha with gold Lexus. Eventually want to wrap it in Nori Green.

Our 2000 lx470 still runs and has the least amount of problems compared to our other cars. Oh ya it also has 265,000 miles. Lexus makes the best cars

I’ve been eyeing the Carpuride for a while now to add CarPlay and dashcam to my 2011 LX. Would love to see that follow up review on the unit. Solid functional upgrades all around. I’ll definitely be picking up the center console cup holder replacement.

I have a similar setup in my LX570 except my display is flush with the flat area above the original LX570 screen. There is a L shaped/angled metal that I made to hold the display to the display adhesive. Added a 8.8 in display from Amazon two/three years ago so I can use wireless Android Auto/CarPlay. Nice thing is now I have dual screen like the LX600. The 8.8 in display is the navigation/music/video and sits in the flat spot in front of the center speaker/above the original 08-15 LX570 screen. The original LX570 screen is primarily climate control and audio control. I used 3.5mm for audio from display to LX570 for best quality audio. Mobile phone uses bluetooth or wifi for wireless Android Auto/CarPlay. There is a newer model now with physical buttons and 8.9 in screen, higher resolution, fanless, and faster processor. There are a couple of other IH8MUD members that have similar setup. See IH8MUD forum for details.

I compared the 2018 LX570 to the LC200 Sahara - twin turbo diesel. Went with the Sahara as still has “the nice things) but more capable in stock form in the dirty stuff.
