Juvenile goblins can be found swimming at just about 90 feet below the surface. Based on the size this shark looks to be a youngin.

These guys are non-aggressive, live in the deep, and were only discovered a few years ago. You have no reason to fear these creatures.

That's why, if you're ever bitten by a shark, hit it in the snout, it'll let go immediately. Most of the time when sharks bite people, it's only them trying to figure out what you are. Once they taste that you're not food, they'll swim off or just stop bothering you.

1) who says that. Scientists only say that there's none we discovered. Many legitimate researches work to find if any complex life is out there and as vast as the universe is it seems fairly likely that there would be something. There are definitely planets we found with orbits the correct distance from a star to be reasonable for life as we know it. 2) There's plenty of things right here on earth that are as weird as nearly anything you'd see in a science fiction story. ; p

These guys are practically blind and that long “nose” is packed full of electro-receptors that can detect anything with a pulse and nervous system. The shark avoided the camera because it didn’t like the light and bumped into the arm and sensed something living and instinctively bit thinking it would catch food. It realized then that whatever it bit was too big for it and that it was now stuck so it sat there till whatever it thinks it was caught on broke free. At least that’s what I think is going on here. It could’ve been a defensive response since it was trying to get away from the camera only for another object to get in its way. Animals have their limits and we need to respect that. Either way they are still amazing creatures though!

Deep sea creatures aren't that aggressive. Surprise is everything there for predators, and excess movement is an enormous waste of energy. It takes much more energy to hunt prey like how most fish do in the more shallow waters, than there is prey available in waters where the sun doesn't shine. Deep sea plays by different rules.
