@@drew_gon1617 Let's go a step further. That mode Hidan enters in order to finish off the sacrifice could be in fact a karma mark that Hidan was able to master. It's just that Jashin Otsutsuki purposefully does not override him fully, just grants a smidge of his god power.

@@drew_gon1617 I was hoping one of them would be the reaper death seal as it closely resembles an Otsutsuki, and maybe their plot would be that they grant humans their avatar to be able to take souls as a form of power like a very miniature divine fruit something akin to Momoshiki's pills and he's been in hiding or something alike, however I doubt Boruto will ever come back to old plot points in Naruto so it's just a empty wish

That might be one of the strongest points in my theory that true immortality is not bestowed upon Hidan.. He is dead. He is dead after shikimaru played him like a fiddle.

I doubt Hidan had a truly immortal body.. And it had to do be just a simple jutsu.

Doesnt he say/imply at one point that he joined the Akatsuki/lives such a murderous lifestyle because he has to keep killing and honor his god? As in, the gift is not permanent and if Hidan were to settle down with a wife and kids his god would probably murder him

@@TheBigE9999 except all jutsus work that way. You don't have to always draw a circle, but they all have requirements, like hand signs. The circle is just like a variation of the hand signs. And if you watched the video, it's explained that one theory is that hidan was born with it, making his immortality and blood connection stuff part of a kekkei genkai, since there's no other jashinists in the world, even when looked for they only found a single small group that was directly inspired to jashinism by seeing hidan. In the world of naruto, his abilities don't prove any sort of God, in the slightest. Not anymore than being able to teleport with the flying raijin, or anymore than having the sharingan does

Its now confirmed by Momoshiki there are multiple ootsutsuki who reach Godhood and he also hinted they several time intervene human history, it possible that Jashin is an ootsutsuki that become God and want to toying with humans by Creating Murderous religion.

Well no. He may be immortal but his body isn’t made of steel. Also he can’t heal his body parts whatsoever. In a sense he’s like Deadpool

He isn’t immortal in the way you’re thinking. He starved to death. So being incinerated like the 8th gate would do to him would most likely kill him. I guess it depends on how much damage the brain takes from the 8th gate, but from the looks of Guy, it turns you into solid charcoal on every layer. Could be wrong of course but since he starved to death, I don’t think he could survive complete incineration (and complete chakra depletion).

I feel like if he was to start his technique before activating the gates he would survive and whoever he started the technique on would suffer the effects. Essentially start the technique on the strongest foe, then open the gates and attack his allies while he's forced to watch until his body burns up.... I definitely feel like that would get you a ton respect from Lord Jashin

I'd just assume that he has a ridiculous healing factor from a kekeigenkai that could have developed in him. Honest question does a kekeigenkai have to be passed down? I assumed kekeigenkai were kind of like a mutation so technically anyone could be born with one but then their offspring would inherit that mutation.
