beelz being so fascinated with the default power skull dash is the funniest thing I've seen this week.

The polearm is a Guandao, and the loyalty generator is one of his items.

After the first adventurer fight, at Arachne’s room, there’s a hidden platform with a mushroom on it to trampoline up!

Since the skull's name is Guan Yu the weapon he is using would be called a guandao or yanyuedao, with his final version being the Green Dragon Crescent blade.

Not sure if anyone said so, but each Mythological skull has 4 items specifically for them, I think it's a common, rare, unique, & legendary. They also provide a good indication of what you want to build for those skulls.

So not spoiling what happens but after you finish the mythology skull runs or if you wanna use the last one for it here's a list of things you should do for a little suprise (THIS NEEDS TO BE DONE ALL IN A SINGLE RUN) 1. At any shop stop feed the chonky cat and go to where it was sitting (you must reach the spot BEFORE it goes back to it) 2. At arachne's room after the first adventurer fight, stand under the hole on the roof and drop like a platform 3.After you beat Yggdrassil before entering the next stage jump on top of a slightly darker bit of the grass multiple times (it looks like it has a bit of a shadow) 4. Reach the hallway before the sisters fight and DO NOT enter, keep going to the right and smack the wall 5. After beating chimera and reaching Arachne again go to the left before entering the elevator 6. At the last adventurer fight jump down the hole that's between the fountain and the arena and dash into a hidden space If everything is done right you'll know and don't worry, if you do all the steps once you don't have to do them again in future runs

I just realized, there's a bar under the Character Info button that has slots for refined dark quarts. Also, it's a bit unfortunate that you don't get to go through the whole sequence with the Witches and the Ghost coming to your aid on repeated playthroughs. It's probably the right choice for variety, but it would be nice if you could re-trigger those sequences, if you feel like going through them again.

This video convinced me to do a Guan Yu run, and by GOD he goes hard. Can't believe I dismissed him when I first picked him up. Of course, Hercules was there to help, but still.

In the Arachne room, with the weird hole in the ceiling, theres a hidden bouncey mushroom that bounces you up to the top. So you can see what's hiding up there for you ;) It should be just under the hole, just gotta fall through it

The enriched quartz is not per difficulty level, there is one in certain rooms: Before you enter the sister´s boss room go to the far right and break the walll. also after defeating chimera go to the left. I have no idea where the others are tho Edit: so Mr Bacanudo uploaded a video that explains everything about the enriched quartzs

The cool thing about unstoppable advancement is that you don’t have to “brandish” the “crescent blades” back to back. There’s a small window where you can still move or dash between uses

Dear Beelzy, Guan-Yu is currently bugged. The description says that Unrivaled Strike counts a basic attack. Unfortunately, it doesn't work eith basic attack items. It may scale with the darj ability that increases basic attack damage (I used it but I didn't do the math), but it definitely doesn't trigger effects like Arms or Mana Eater which also makes me think Kirion, Afterimage, the one Omen item and Thief's Armour won't work with it. I hope they fix it soon. You may have noticed it later in the run as well, but in order to mark someone as a general with his swap, you have to use the unrivaled strike. It works just like with normal abilities where you're able to use it right at the end of the swap's animation. Only when you do that, does an enemy get marked. Otherwise it's just one instance of damage and no other special effects. You skimmed over this part of his passive when you were upgrading him but the text did update at unique. It is a bit confusing though because with every abikity or swap it says "the next Unrivaled Strike" while in practice it's actually "the Unrivaled Strike performed at the end of this ability". Either way, this also applies to the swao and it's what marks an enemy as a general, not the swap itself Also, I know I'm in the minority here but I would absolutely love if you did a proper dedicated poison build. Talking, the syringe, the plague stone, the poison heart, fatal sword or any other items for poison. I promise it's a very very underrated status effect. It chunks people just as fast as bleed just not in one single burst but over time (and the time is still very short meaning it can potentially deal more damage than bleed) and the enhanced inscription you can get from the Witch at the end makes poison procs work as if you unplugged the enemies' life support all of a sudden, it's nuts. I don't know which skull would work best with this but even Guan-Yu would be a good idea for this

I'll just say one thing: I'm REALLY excited to see your reaction when you unlock the Heracles skull

A little late, but since the text says the unrivaled attack counts as a normal attack, the dark ability that amplifies basic attack SHOULD work. The unrivaled would hit so much harder

I'm glad they allow you to skip through the extra fluff at the end after you've completed it the first time around, allowing you to dive right back into that rollercoaster of a three-form boss fight! Here's the location for pure quartz You don't need to do anything above difficulty 0 1) In the shop 2) First Arachne encounter, there's a bounce shroom under the grass right at the suspicious hole. 3) After the Ygg fight, before entering the gate, there's a weird patch of grass, jump on it a few times. 4) Before entering the room for the sister fight, go right a bit more right at the door and hit the wall. 5) Arachne room right after beating Chimera, go left. 6) Final adventure fight room, drop down the gap between the fountain and the fight arena and go right.

Beelz, evry new skull have 4 new item that are perferct for them, and all of them had mistery attach, and mistery work both for physical and magic dmg, it does what stat are highest

His weapon is called a "Guandao". It's not really like a bardiche at all, that's more of a long-handled axe. Guandaos are closer in design to the European glaive.

You've probably figured out a bunch, but all of the Enhanced Quartz can be obtained by any vanilla skull. You don't need any special skulls to get them. For people getting stuck, the game provides a bunch of hints, and remember all of your basic movement abilities! They are all important.

Funny enough; Guan Yu dealing with an evil, greedy, self-absorbed, corrupt, and corrupted ruler is rather on brand for him, post warring states, apparently.

The mind boggles at what kinds of wonderfully stupid things might be possible for a Max+ Treasure/Masterpiece/etc build come the chance to enhance.
