Ouch, Hallelujah! As a friend used to say when a message was convicting. My experience with churches has not been very good After getting badly hurt in the church of my childhood, I left and went elsewhere. Several years later, my parents invited me to come because out new preacher "talks like you" (about the Holy Spirit). Ok, so, I tried again. This time I got accused of having an affair with the preacher. (His wife was the one who told me of the rumor, and she didn't believe it.). I went back to the church I had ended up at after the first attack and was there until I could not stomach the casual attitude toward sexual sin. The next church was good for a while, until some of us started meeting together on our own for Bible Study and the pastors. The pastors stalked the house aka, drove by to see which of the flock were at this unauthorized Bible Study. I can't recall all the things that happened. I left and it was several years before I returned. It was good for a while ...and then it was not. Among other things, they had different rules and standards for me than for others. I didn't plan to leave that one. There were just 3 Sundays when I was out of state or out of town and went to a different church. I didn't miss it and apparently no one missed me either. I went back to the church of my childhood for a while until someone YELLED at me after getting her shy sister to lead the singing. Seriously? It is a tiny church and about a fourth of the people were her family members. My threshold for being abused had diminished and though this was the least painful thing, I didn't return and didn't hear from them either. I had not been quick to quit, but this was my 3rd round at this church and I wasn't sticking around and trying to persevere again. Since leaving the double standard church, I have only gone to Sunday morning services for the most part. Since 2015, I have gone to 4 different churches. I loved the COVID Shutdown, because it was an excuse not to go. I used to be ALL IN and heavily involved, but thanks to how the church has treated me, I want to do nothing. As a single woman in a rural area, churches are filled with married couples with kids, and grandkids. It has been emotionally hard to attend, plus the meanness. In 2019 I got involved with a movement and that is where my focus and energy are. I know it has taken over God's place in my life and heart. I have only had to deal with 2 mean people since getting involved. It has had its trials,but being single isn't an issue. The church has been hard on singles. We aren't after someone else's husband.

We are to love everyone but not fellowship with their ideals but we must be around them to show them love

I love these videos. What breaks my heart is the Catholic church. My in-laws are Catholic, and their church is full of idols. I've never been in a Catholic church until I married my husband. We didn't get married in that church, but his other siblings did, and I was shocked by the status in a supposedly Christian church. Until I married my husband, I didn't know anything about the Catholic church. The more I find out, the more I think they're not really Christians.

Idolatry is loving and worshipping someone/something more than our Holy God. The greatest COMMANDMENT is to love God 100%, to be fully in love with our Lord Jesus Christ - forever.

Idols can be the internet, our cell phones, money, our jobs, and so many other things!

These are in fact the end times. My Mother stated before she passed November 30, 2021 that she knew her physical life was over. We do watch the picture THE EXORCIST (1973) and produce pictures similar in tone and special effects but not ever shining good spotlight on darkness or Satan.

I thank GOD for revealing these mysteries to His people through your book. I bear witness to these revelations because I have seen firsthand how these idols operate. In fact, they still have asherah poles in my father's village in West Africa, where they still feast and practice abominable blood sacrifices biannually. To GOD be all the glory for using you to warn America.

If you are worrying about something in your life being an idol, don't. Since God made the world and everything in it, doing anything other than thinking, praying, and worshipping God is not evil. However, doing anything in such a way that is against the will or intent of God is sin. Obedience to God's word will always prevent the worship of idols because doing God's will is a form of worship and it is not possible to worship both God and idols for you cannot serve two masters. Knowing (and doing) God's will is what will save your soul.
