Assuming the mega Godzilla skull ended up in the mountain where the Kong species lived, it's likely that the Kong species went out of their way to hunt this one down in particular, similar to how our cavemen ancestors would take down animals many times their size in a pack and bringing the corpse back to their home for harvesting Besides, the axe was literally in the mega Godzilla cranium, which meant that there were probably many of these similar axes wielded by many kongs, they probably hunted Godzilla species for their plates to makeshift as weapons

I like how devoted this channel is on making everything about kaijus and the monsterverse as real as possible, I am entertained.

That giant skull isn’t a Godzilla specimen. The GvK novelization stated that skull belonged to a Godzilla, but it looks nothing like one in the film, so it contradicts the novel. That skull must’ve belonged to a creature that got involved during the Godzilla and Kong war. If you remember from the GvK opening credits, we saw Mothra help Godzilla fight the Kongs, and there were some Elephant titans on the top left corner. So there were different titans who sided with the Godzillas and Kings during the war, that creature who got murdered in the temple was on Godzillas side.

I’d like to point out that Godzilla’s dorsal plates changed to something similar to his 1999/2000 incarnation

I think the 'Mega' Godzilla is a large species that I theorize were evolutionary branches of the Godzilla species, not the gojira species, but a relative. Like tyrannosaurus and daspleteosaurus, and Great White Sharks and makos, they aren't the same. I think they COULD use an atomic breath, they likely didn't use often because of their brute force, size, and white. Also, I think the megas were less capable of swimming as well as the other gojira family, hence the hunched over back. They probably couldn't run as good as other gojiras either. They would probably run if they were hunting, or charging towards an opposing titan. However they would get tired VERY quickly. Also the tail would have probably dragged alone the ground as it walk or ran. A tailwhip would be devasting, but very hard for this titan to do. Now that we have our stats, lets see how this titan REALLY died. So obviously, it got stabbed in the head with the axe. This would have been done by a really strong Kong specimen. How? well, if we look in Godzilla vs Kong, the axe ( power charged ) was able to cut into Godzillas skin, stabbing his leg. Now, we look at the next scene. Kong jumps high in the air, Godzilla fires his atomic breath at the axe, and while Kong is still falling down, Godzilla is still firing at the axe. The axe hit Godzilla in the face and doesn't kill him? The skull of every species of Gojira must be VERY durable. It probably was a very very rough shot, or the specimen had a cut or wound that hadn't fully healed yet, making it easier to pierce into the skull. Theres also a possibility that the specimen is quite fully grown, or just a juvinile. So the next question, if the species was capable of atomic abilities, then why didn't it blow up the cave. Well, the Kong's had very strong arms, there could be a possibilty there were two kongs pinning them down, and one was either using a mussel or its bare hands to hold these creatures mouth shut. Here's the thing... due to the evolution WITHIN a single individual, it's possible that every member of the species is so mutable that the result of a single clutch (or litter) might appear to be totally different species.

You may not have known this but Before Ghidorah was formed, Kevin was an individual dragon who fought intensely against Doug. When they both proved evenly matched, Doug created the lineage of gojira while Kevin created the lineage of Ghidorah, including fusing his head with two other heads that were less dominant.

Well, considering that it evolved in the hollow earth, we can probably infer the other species evolved much like the mega-gojira species we have here. So, if this is true, then there are probably species of kaiju we have never even seen before, lurking within the depths of the hollow earth. So, there are probably "upgraded" versions of the kaiju that we have seen before, within the hollow earth.

You guys do a great job at giving Godzilla such a scientific twist. This channel was what I wanted as a child; a compendium, of sorts, for one of the biologically astounding creatures in all of fiction. I really like that you explain and showcase Godzilla’s attributes in the most scientific way you can. Thanks for all you do, and keep up the good work!

It’d be cool if we eventually see Godzilla get some Heisei spines over time, I’d love to see him have some Heisei attributes eventually.

So after seeing the Godzilla x Kong: New Empire trailer and the way that Godzilla changed in his evolution I think that the Mega version is just an elder Gojira.

This purty much spawn theories that in a future installment, the potential antagonist might just be a Gojira species that is not the Big G. Maybe one would rise up and challenge Kong over the rule of Hollow Earth, or maybe even challenging G man as the title of king. Maybe some mysterious corporates would decide to revive a Gojira species JP style. Maybe, just maybe, this could lead the creation of the MonsterVerse version of Space Godzilla. Also happy belated birthday, Godzilla.

I think it was a combination of the Mutos and Ghidorah, along with the War with the Kings that wiped out the majority of Godzilla’s species, I have a hard time believing that just one of those factors could have resulted in the near extinction of Titanus Gojira

I’d like to point out that Godzilla has been alive since the Permian period and survived the extinction of all those periods, he is over 250 million years old and the Godzilla I’m talking about is the same one that is still alive. Godzilla can’t die of age so he is biologically immortal so Godzilla is more tougher than we thought

If Godzilla returns to the Monsterverse in the future, I'd really like to see him find a baby Godzilla to take care of. This would help him grow in character, and offer the audience hope that he is no longer the last of his kind. Also, if the rumored Son of Kong movie happens, maybe we could have Goji Jr and Little Kong team up against other Hollow-earth Titans (Titanus Gabara, maybe?) in a tie in comic.

7:28 Fun fact: The hunched-over Mega Godzilla's fangs, are much the same design as Godzilla ultima's fangs. It's also likely, that the Mega Godzilla specimen how it's hunched-over, is like Godzilla Terrestris and Godzilla Ultima

I do believe if we do get more Godzilla in the monsterverse films. We will eventually see creatures like him. I remember listening to the author podcast of Godzilla dominion and GVK. Greg Keyes talk about Godzilla like creatures that may still be around. Same for kong. These guys may not be the last of their kind. I’m certain legendary is working on it now.

I hope we get more godzilla films. Has always been my favorite and ever since I was a child godzilla has been my hero.

The offshoots of Godzilla seem to have a very complex origin/vibe to them. With all of them being kinda like parts of Godzilla’s family, we can expect for them to maybe find Godzilla, and either fight him to side with him. Either way, I still love the idea of Godzilla’s family. Maybe sometime sooner in the monstereverse they can have a family reunion 😂

0:01 That skull looks very similar to the mammal-like reptile, dimetrodon, which pre-existed the dinosaurs and went extinct before the Triassic, when the first dinosaurs appeared. Two interesting facts are, they are believed to have been warm-blooded, and that they evolved into the mammals that then evolved into humans.

These videos are AMAZIN'!! And the Mega-Gojira species reminds me of Orga! and that would be a GREAT way to introduce Orga without aliens and still keep it related to Godzilla! Or it could be a Mega-Gojira modified by Aliens! Either way, i'm excited~🖤

The way he's describing Dagon here it makes me think he could be the monsterverse version of Godzilla 2000 and the Godzilla seen in Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla and Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S. where these 3 different Godzillas had a greenish/grayish color to his skin.

I think we will. I hope our boy continues to evolve and can kinda look like a combo from the new GvK movie and the Godzilla 2000 movie. More jagged skin and his dorsals look even spikier and maybe his atomic breath can evolve too. Maybe the more he charges it, it can change color and gain so much power it can change from fire to an actual beam?

I can see Doug being a Godzilla like family, like look at the African hippo and their smaller species, the Pygmy hippos I remember people fighting that this skull was an alpha skull crawler and not a Godzilla species because that would be surprisingly large but I won’t be surprised if they have any limit ( in the monster verse I mean ) they aren’t growing faster due lack of radiation and had slow down on consuming radiation

I honestly think that the "mega" gojis had a atomic breath as well, because how it had an axe on its head and how we saw Kong slashing through Godzilla’s skin like butter, or else I don’t see why that that Kong specie put a fucking axe on a 10x more bigger or even powerful than Godzilla right now Edit: maybe it wasn’t a Godzilla specie, since we clearly see how Kong couldn’t even slash through human-made-metal, it’s must have been a goji and a kong teaming up against it

Cant help but imagine a fused specimen between Godzilla and his unnamed relative, Like just imagine, Godzilla but much larger, stronger legs, bigger tail, amplified atomic breath, and maybe even an improvement to the arms, that would make it a complete unstoppable force

Originally I would have said no, we are unlikely to see much more of anything in this universe, now I think the question is different. What rights will Toho hand over as well as what's going on with Kong. On Toho's half its simply that if we have access to more of the classic monsters that kinda gives less reason to flesh out Godzilla. IF Godzilla is it makes more sense to focus on original monsters as well as stuff that Toho would either have to lease or buy back from the US companies. From a sheer story telling POV I think we have to start with cementing the Kong, Gojira and Titan histories a littlemore than they are at present because its a dumpster fire right now.

I was also amazed by the fact that the G man could blast a hole into the hollow earth with a single breath. That's really incredible the amount of energy he has just amazing. I wonder how he'd square up against Mecha G if he hadn't fought Kong or constantly moving back and forth Hong Kong. He's fat but he has the stamina and endurance better than a fitter Kong LOL.
