I think it's time for Christians to humbly admit to our shortcomings, arrogance, and prejudice against Mormons. We need to extend the hand of fellowship to Mormon Christians and begin enthusiastic inter-faith dialouge. It's time to listen and stop hating them.

Anyone LDS remember this from Pres. Russell M. Nelson? “In coming days, we will see the greatest manifestations of the Savior's power that the world has ever seen. Between now and the time He returns "with power and great glory," He will bestow countless privileges blessings, and miracles upon the faithful."

Latter-day Saints: "Gold plates? Most precious writings? Seals on the book? 2000 years old? You don't say." Good stuff.

Shabbat shalom, I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints and I am Jewish. I am a well-educated individual with a degree in marine science and a study in archaeological discoveries. After reading the book of Mormon, I began my search in archaeological libraries and found that the gold plates Joseph Smith translated are not the only ones. Ones. Other countries also have them and other countries also have records of profits leaving Jerusalem with their families and traveling. I love how he mentions the lost priesthood. That would be the Melchizedek priesthood which no other religion of the face of the earth has, except the Church of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Messiah and all will come to recognize that shortly.

I read the Book of Mormon when I was 15 (1985). The power of God that I felt upon asking if it is true was overwhelming. The Spirit of God filled my soul with radiant love. The most spiritual and powerful event of my life. God is real and very powerful. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Jesus is the Savior.

Lehi's family from the Book of Mormon exited Jerusalem through Saudi Arabia. This is great for the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Thank you for validating proof of gold plates being used by Hebrew tribes to write sacred text. Hoorah for Israel! Hosanna to the Most High God!!

The LORD reveals himself in his OWN due time. Some are more readily willing to accept what is being taught. BUT....those with Pride issues...will refuse to accept that a Hebrewic language, a religious text has been found before and on metal pages to form a book. The book was translated almost 200 years ago teaching a Melchizedek priesthood. It is a fascinating story of a family's journey to leave their homeland in the middle east and travel across the ocean to start anew. So grateful to our LORD for revealing more scriptural texts in these days. Thank you for sharing this great news.🙏

In the Book of Mormon, the Savior testifies that in the last days the earth itself will testify of the truthfulness of the restored gospel. I think this is a amazing example of that!

Psalm 85: 11 "Truth shall spring out of the earth;"

At around 20 minutes the video states - "it was precious"... the text was "embossed" and it had "rings." This sounds familiar... Like a young boy who was given a text written on gold plates, written anciently by a group of Hebrews who left Jerusalem around 600 BCE. Note the circle on the text. Don Bradley (a historian) discusses a circle with text on the gold plates that Joseph Smith received. This is very interesting. I am curious as to the translation of the text. I am with the other commenter who said that if this was a Netflix series I would be binging this. Thanks for sharing your find and I look forward to seeing more of the text on these golden plates.

For those who say The Bible is the only word of God need to rethink this. Records from Israelite tribes that teach of the divinity of Jesus Christ and His Gospel are the words of God. There are many records still to be discovered. The Book Mormon is just one of many. Any time The Lord visits His covenant people a record is kept. He reveals these records in His own time.

The Book of Mormon was translated from plates that had the “appearance of Gold” described as a lot like these. Coincidence? I think not! Time vindicated The Prophet!

Blessed are all the people who will believe the Book of Mormon is true after seeing such evidence. Even more blessed are those who believe even without the evidence. God lives!

Finally, all the critics have another set of gold plates to pick apart and not believe. This makes the Latter Day Saint origins of ancient Hebrew/Egyptian writings on gold plates, translated into the Book of Mormon, so creditable.

The seed not only refers to the righteous lineage of Abraham, the seed also represents the true Priesthood after the Order of the Son of God, or in otherwords, the priesthood of Melchizedek.I also believe the phrase " the gold of Egypt has been spoiled" is symbolic of the virtue of the Holy Priesthood, which is more precious than gold, has been corrupted through apostasy and wicked men.

Very few people will fully appreciate the significance of this gold book, just as very few people have embraced the Lord's gift of The Book of Mormon - Another Testament of Jesus Christ, which was translated by the gift and power of God 195 years ago.

This is not the only record on metallic gold, silver, copper/bronze/brass, and lead plates discovered. The fact that it's written in paleo-Hebrew would put its dating prior to 600 BC, when the Jews took their vacation in Babylon, where they adopted the Aramaic language and alphabet. Never doubt the Joseph Smith story about the gold plates, lest you label yourself a hypocrite. If you examine the "Anthon Manuscript," a copy of the characters on the title page of the gold plates, you will notice many of the symbols are in fact Egyptian Demotic. This was copied before 600 BC Demotic had been discovered by the west.

❤The gold plates of Panama are interesting too. Many born again Christians and Native American tribes are claiming to see or have those in their culture that have seen heavenly messengers and visions. Why can't they believe Joseph Smith had the same? I believe he saw heavenly beings and translated the Book of Mormon.

The website said the Rood Awakening mission to restore the Hebrew roots of the Christian faith. God himself really already did this through Joseph Smith 200 years ago.

Latter-day Saint here. Joseph smith was NOT a fraud. Ancient people enscribed sacred writings on gold plates. I have read The Book of Mormon (an ancient text translated from a gold book) and it testifies and explains clearly the doctrine of Christ. Jesus Christ is the savior of the world. His gospel has been restored. Temple ordinances from ancient days are restored and being practiced in our latter day temples.
