He’s already said the woman has to be geographically desirable. So if Joan is still working plus can’t even leave her family for 15 days, I doubt she’d be the one. Unless he’s willing to leave his family and lake house.

I thought it was pretty selfish of her daughter to deny her mother a chance at love in a once in a lifetime setting. The daughter had given birth before Joan left. The daughter could have hired a nurse to assist her at home while mom was away for two weeks. I would do that before interrupting mom’s journey. If not now under this amazing rare circumstance, when is it mom’s turn?

Awww he's so sweet. He looks like an old player but he's so sensitive and loving towards Joan. Hope he can reunite with her if he doesnt find true love.

I loved her poem. I was heartbroken when she left. She had such a nice connection with gerry on their date. I hope they keep in touch. Awww that hug made me cry so much. I look forward to seeing her again at the women tell all special.

I’m sure that Joan will make a surprise come back. Perhaps this was her plan all along to stand out amongst the women. And I feel she will be the one for Gary.

I agree that Joan would be a great Golden Bachelorette. I admire her for going home to her daughter and grandbaby. We put our children first, above any one or any thing else. I think Joan could have possibly been Gary’s person. It’s a shame she had to leave, but I would have done the same.

This was my favorite episode and I feel that the bachelor was really in love with this lady and if some reason everything turns out OK and she comes back I think this would be the lady he would pick for his forever wife
