Nice video, definately the 80s used to be motorsports golden era. I'm missing endurance racing cars (Group-C) in the video, as these used to be the craziest machines human ever created, capable of going 400 kph for 24hours and beating the hell out of F1 cars from the same era, especially having so much power with just about 890 kg.
Everytime I watch this video, I think of my father. I’m lucky he’s still around. But it certainly brings me back to happy times sharing one of the few things we have in common: our love for this sport and these categories especially.
I remember vague on everything, but my dad was a motor sport junkie, he took us to all of these famous places the rally history like 1000 lake rally in Finland, the Mone in Monaco,..... if I see this pictures from this era, the memories coming back and I get goose bumps, I just can say thank you dad that I could witnessed this time with you...... and thank you Antti, that you bring me back these memories.

This guy Antti is only 20 years old?!! Can't believe it cauz the background musics he uses for his videos are in no F way related to his age! Good job, respect and hats off..
racing will be the death of me. all the blood and sweat poured into hours and hours of tuning my car are just building me a faster/funner coffin. theres nothing i enjoy more, you can bury me on the street
Can’t forget ending the f1 season with wonderful tracks like ceasars palace and having 7 other american street circuits on the calendar!

Antti you should get involved in a movie on motorsport or something because your videos almost make me cry, seriously. I felt so much emotions by watching this and also the 1998 wrc RAC rally.
Bel video complimenti! Anche se avrei voluto vedere almeno una comparsa della leggendaria Delta Integrale plurivincitrice dei mondiali Rally di fine anni '80
Adelle's Turning Tables fits quite well on this video too. Jan Hammer's song is a master piece but muting this and playing Adelle's song gives a very different experience.
of course this is the golden era of motorsport! 80's when nobody who doesn't really understand what is motorsport taking too much involvement. the era when no one too much thinking about the 'green' thing.. just pure passion, sheer bravery (Y)
Not by chance all this craziness was directly related to the addition of turbos (or well the first time they thought they could harness/manage the potential of turbo. Those cars suddenly became too fast for that era, racing became much more dangerous, people died and that period went down in history for being as exciting as it was deadly.
