The Golden Game Boy! I took a a dirty, rusty Game Boy Color; gave it a much needed cleaning and replaced a handful of interior parts. I had to trim the Gold shell to fit the IPS screen. Let me know what you think about this Game Boy in the comments!

Hello i am wondering if buying a golden shell or not, the thing that makes me hesitant is... does the shell lost paint with the time and use?

I personally believe it depends on how much you plan to play it. From my experience with this shell; looks amazing but it gets a lot of finger prints on it when you use it and the paint can chip if scratched. I would recommend this shell for display and light gaming use if you want it to retain its shiny look and feel

I can send you a video of me handling it if you’d like so you can see how it looks with fingerprints and what not. Feel free to email me and I’ll send you some samples

@@GameBoyMart Oh you are very kind i appreciate it! it is ok i can see in the video how this shell catches the fingerprint, my only concern was the lifespan of the gold paint i am still not sure if buy this shell or not but maybe yes...
