Nice video. Love the glimpse of the Sandia Peak from the west side while you were riding. As far as storage, I notice that the more storage I have the more I tend to over pack. I’m terrible at simplifying. Be safe out there!

Thanks!! It’s good to have the option to overpack though right? 😄 You’re on the other side of the Sandias right? Between the both of us I’d say we’re giving folks a pretty good idea of how great a place this area really is!!!

@@twobikesandadrone ... Yeah, I am close to Tijeras. Lots of beauty in this state. That's for sure. Been here 42 years and have been on most of the back roads but I am still amazed every time I ride

@@wingandhog We've been here four years, and I sure don't miss the humidity and mosquitoes that come with living almost everywhere else. And being able to ride in the desert one day and mountains the next is the icing on the cake!!

Unbelievable I had a 1989 Gl500 that I had repainted a Black Cherry Met from the Chev. Impala and looks like same color. I finally sold it and got a 2012. I miss that 1500 best bike I ever owned. Had it for 13yrs.

Great minds think alike 😄. I do love my old Wing, and refuse to ride any newer ones just so I won’t be tempted! I did buy a new GS, but that’s mainly so I can hit the forest and desert roads.

Never tire of seeing, talking about, or riding Goldwings! Mine’s a ‘95 gl1500, currently 100,300 mi. - my 1st bike w/no regrets. Great for twistiest or 2-up & sure enough plenty of room for gear & overnighters.

I am right there with you….which is why I started this channel. I need to do more GoldWing videos since they seem to get more interest than my new GS, which I still find hard to believe.
