Check out museums on any topic. They will often have lesson plans on their websites. Like the world war 2 museum website, you could spend an entire year doing everything!
Totally agree with what you said at the end about being budget friendly/free doesn't mean less in quality. We switched from ABeka (about $1000/child) to the good and the beautiful. I love it. I'm so glad we switched!
Tgatb Mama review: I have never in 12 plus years of teaching public school and then using FOUR$$ other curriculums have come up across anything as amazing, wholesome and beautiful. We are on Level 2. I've already bought all of level 3, several of the free n bought science units are printed plus additional books bought. I have several library books Lv 3 ready and all their electives-typing/writing n drawing😍. It's so affordable but the quality is priceless. I'm a thankful Mama.
I started out the beginning of our school year using 2 other curriculums. One was all free and my daughter finished the whole years worth by Halloween. I then switched to another program and she finished that by the first of the year. We switched to TGTB January for Kindergarten. She loved it. We just finished it. We can’t wait for the new math to come out. We will be doing year round schooling. The Epson eco printer helped us with printing at home costs. I am so grateful for this curriculum option. For us, my daughter needed a challenge and she was getting bored until we discovered TGTB. I really love the suggested reading esp for Safety course. The books are clean, wholesome, and something I don’t have to worry about. I know that every single book we purchase will be a great read for my child.
We started using tgatb this year and we all love it! I’m subscribed to tgatb RU-vid channel and my kids learned the months of the year & days of the week with their songs.
Love that TGTB has so many free resources! It’s so amazing they do that! Also, totally NOT trying to spam your video, but since you asked people to post info about free resources, I just happened to do a video about free resources from the library (other than books) on my channel on Friday. ☺️ Love your channel!
Love TGTB but I had no idea about the different RU-vid channels they have or the Storytime feature! This will be great for my 4 year old. Thanks for sharing these!
Thank you for the info! Easy peasy all in one homeschool online is free. This is my first year homeschooling and I'm currently using this free curriculum. 👍❤
Recently changed to TGATB for history & LA and I have been loving it. Gets my daughter really thinking keeps her busy longer than what we were doing before. Thank you Ashlee!
We love TGBATB Science RU-vid channel! I believe it’s the same as the videos on their site, but RU-vid is easier for us to get on our TV. So thankful for all you share-we wouldn’t be doing this wonderful curriculum were it not for all that you share that peaked my interest. We are LOVING it!
I have recently discovered your channel, as we are just beginning our journey into TGATB...though some of my babes will begin from the beginning and others mid-stream. Thank you so much for your videos. They have been so helpful! Keep up the good work Mama☺️💗
In terms of free curriculum there's quite a lot! Khan Academy, Prodigy, Easy Peasy All in one Homeschool, Amy Maryon has a free curriculum also (it is quite plain, no colours etc so my kids didn't enjoy it so much)
This was great thanks for sharing! I honestly don’t even know where to start homeschooling is a journey and has been overwhelming being a working mom and leaving it up to a virtual online academy to homeschool my oldest. I will be staying at home now and really want to start homeschooling him myself. I did start looking into a lot of ur suggestion and recommendations because he will be going into 9th grade. Any helpful advice? Please let me know thank you in advance.
