10:31 now that you have seen this scene, let me tell you something..first of all, that guy is NOT Tanjiro's dad, yeah he and Tanjiro look similar but he isn't Tanjiro's dad and as for what caused that scared and trembling reaction from Muzan(the demon king/Michael Jackson) was because of those earrings that Tanjiro wears as you saw yourself how Muzan said "Those earrings...." That mysterious character will be revealed later in the series but for now just remember he is not Tanjiro's dad..

You need to understand one thing. In this period of Japan history, villages was just like in medieval times, where big cities was like in more modern times. That's why Demon Slayers have some authority in the villages, where people are still believing in demons and ghost, but they don't have any authority in the big cities, where humans rejects myths and legends and don't believe in demons anymore.

Which is interesting considering that in Japanese folklore and stories demon were quite well known like they were able to sneak in to big cities like Kyoto which was the old capital(I think i am not sure correct me if i am wrong) and they also had there own version of the demon slayers the Genji warriors lead by the Minamoto clan who were also loyal vassals to the emperor and they were very well known Minamoto no Raikou's sword which decapitated Shuten Douji who is basically Muzan is kept in the Tokyo museum and is considered a national treasure in Japan

They said in episode 3 in the beginning the Demon Slayer Corps is an unofficial organization not recognized by the Government, most people don't believe Demons even exist, Tanjiro didn't in episode 1, they are old wives tales. The few people that do are mostly older people in small boony villages.

you should know that Kibutsuji's power display in here is like 1% of his power. he could easily kill everybody in that city area, however it would trigger Demon Slayers and the Kasugai Crows to know where he is. even he's the strongest being on the planet rn, he's a HUGE coward of death and the possibility of defeat, that's why he always sends minions/pawns.

An older demon’s age doesn’t necessarily mean they’re stronger. Remember, the number of people they’ve eaten plays a role. You can generally assume that the longer they’ve lived, the more humans they’ve eaten, and the stronger they’ve gotten. The lady demon’s strength will depend on at what point in her 200 years did she stop eating humans and only drank blood. Her assistant likely never ate a human, and has survived on less blood than her. He’s stronger than a human, but definitely weaker than the two attacking demons. The other thing factoring into their strength is how much blood they’ve received from the originator. One of the demons has already said they’ve received a lot. We don’t know how much the lady demon had, but the assistant has definitely had none.

If you're wondering why Muzan reacted to the drunks in the alley, it's because he referred to how he "about to fall over dead". For being a demon king, the biggest thing that Muzan fears is death, so he was triggered hard.

Ya kno' if Muzan wasn't such a coward there demon slayer would have ended a lot different. The crow sent him there because of rumors of demons. And yes there's a big leap in strength for the strongest demons and Slayers.

It's genuine arrogance. His speech later about comparing himself to a natural disaster while being 100% honest tells you everything. He legit never considered demon slayers a threat outside of Yoriichi, and even then, he was able to simply "defeat" him by waiting for him to die. He is so damned stupid. He had 100s of ways to win before he actually acknowledged them as a threat.

4:00 The demon slayer corps is unrecognised by the government and most people don't even believe demons exists if you were to mention it they'd just think you're crazy. Tanjiro didn't believe in demons at the start of episode 1 either and Nezuko did attack him at first. 8:41 He does die in the sunlight that's why he said "being close to perfection" he's trying to overcome that weakness and essentially become immortal so he hates when people comments on him looking sick and that he's "about to fall over dead" so yes the 3 might have survived if they just left him alone. 14:10 I've seen it before but it's still funny and yeah Demon slayer can easily go from dark and serious to comedy. 17:38 the flowers in the ending are red spider lilies and they symbolise death and loss they're often used in funerals and you can see those flowers in other anime as well. 29:00 I explained this more in the last episode you might have read that by now, but Muzan is over 1000 years old and it's not his family. A lot of your other questions get answered later so I'll talk about it when you get to those episodes.

(Not a spoiler!!!) To be honest the first season is just an important, long prologue compared to another seasons. You have to believe me, first season is great but 2, 3... etc are getting even better and all of them are on high level of production. DS has the best animated fights ever. Blood demon arts are told to be "supernatural powers" as mentioned by Urokodaki, so I guess those effects are real. This one in particular is an enchant meant to create an illusion so it does make sense in this case.

There are many myths that claim these flowers grow in Hell and guide spirits to the afterlife, and they're planted in graveyards to keep scavengers away. They only bloom for 2 weeks in autumn, a time associated with death rather than renewal." They make me nostalgic cuz they were in Inuyasha as well, just know in any anime if they appear its either for the aesthetic or something bad is about to happen or has happened at that spot

The “Higan” are the shores to the afterlife from which the river Sanzu separates the living from the dead. These flowers were planted near temples and their cemeteries, so they are associated with death or the afterlife. They usually bloom near the end of summer.

Last episode when you were like 'I wonder if there's any good demons' I was just giggling b/c that was LITERALLY about to happen. The udon scene is cause he and Nezuko were about to sit down for some udon right before Muzan appeared and Tanjiro bolted. So the guy was upset at him leaving without eating any udon, that's all

Nezuko is also a good demon and she is also beautiful (she is NOT an Eyesore!), but although it is rare to see it is nice to find some other allies even a Demon Doctor! Also seeing what Muzan is capable of with not even a 10th of his power just shows you how scary he is. Gotta love how Tanjiro doesn't care and says what he feels as Muzan walks away has to be one of my favorite MC of any series! Always so excited seeing your reactions to the series as you have really been hooked already! 😄

• if you want to know why Muzan reacted the way he is on that comment, it'll be explained on a future episode, so Luke pls try your best to avoid or scroll past any comment that tries to explain it (we'll explain it more clearly if you still do not know when that episode arrives) • Demon Blood Art is seen by the people as it is "Supernatural" explained by Urokodaki • The Man with the hanafuda-earrings (The one Tanjiro's wearing) is a man who'll be a reoccurring character in the upcoming seasons, and will be explained ahead, but not explained enough (s2-3) his background would mostly be mysterious for season 2, while season 3 explains it much further but will leave many questions, season 5 (unreleased) would fully explain him (If your watching the Anime at this pace, you'll tend to forget this comment unless you have a great memory, thats why i'd leave some explanation that does not explain alot but will keep it so you would understand a bit)

Well, nezuko when turned into demon was also going to eat tanjiro when she wokes up but then after tanjiro resisting her strength and suddenly she remembers him and then that's the time she chilled out, for the plot. 😂

People in the cities don’t really believe in demons, and are too busy to care unless it concerns them. They differ from those in the villages, who are more attacked by demons and spread it around like a myth. Tanjiro in the beginning didn’t really believe in demons either as well. You’ll see more of the main characters after this arc and towards the end of the season. Tamayo and Yushiro aren’t necessarily main characters but are vital to remember from time to time. Muzan killed the people in the alley because of the comment they made about him being pale. He’s extremely sensitive about that. Also regarding more of Muzan’s subordinates, Tanjiro’s father, and other main characters… you’ll see eventually later on in this season.
